Hell's Kitchen S17 Power Rankings (Top 11)

Nov 21, 2017 by PowerRankings101
imageIn a different style of episode, we saw the weakest three chefs from each team face off, sending Gio home. I would have sent home Robyn or Elise, but that’s just me. I probably won’t get my wish for some time. Sigh.

11. Manda Palomino- Manda causes drama, yes. But she is not as crazy and entertaining as Robyn and Elise. So out of the three obvious weaker cooks left, Manda has the highest chance of being eliminated.

10. Robyn Almodovar- Robyn has been an absolute train wreck this season, as we have seen. But she has been good television, and as we’ve seen with plenty of other players in past seasons and the current season, cooking sometimes doesn’t matter (until black jackets of course). Robyn’s days are numbered, but I’m afraid those days are still a tad further away.

9. Elise Harris- Elise probably could have been sent home, but her personality has already been enough for Ramsay to keep her around. She’s good television. Sigh. She won’t be going home yet. But I’ll keep her toward the bottom in hope that this may be the day my dreams come true.

8. Milly Medley- Milly scares me because he started off so strong and confident, but his struggle is in the detail. He left off an oyster. That’s a big no-no. But with Milly, his cooking was so good, it saved him. When you’re that good of a chef, minor details are sometimes forgiven. But how long will he continue to dodge bullets?…that’s the question.

7. Barbie Marshall- Barbie’s team keeps knocking her down, but she’s been able to be resilient this far. I think she has more fight left in her.

6. Jennifer Normant- Jennifer seemed to throw a lot of the heat on Michelle in the team challenge, and while she was one of the last two left in the kitchen and is a good team player, she couldn’t find the courage in herself to lead. She needs to be able to find her voice and lead, otherwise, she may be one of the shocking pre-black jacket boots.

5. Benjamin Knack- Benjamin wasn’t pegged as one of the weakest by Nick. Even Milly was said to be weaker than Benjamin. This makes me feel like Benjamin is safe for some time. Is he annoying? Yeah. But he can cook.

4. Michelle Tribble- Michelle may now have enemies on her side in Barbie and Elise, but I think she’s gotten her voice back, and is becoming a strong member of her team once again. She had some slip ups the past few weeks, but when 7/8 of the original women are left in this season, she doesn’t stand out as one of the weakest.

3. Van Hurd- Van did an honorable thing volunteering to leave the kitchen in the team challenge as early as he did. He’s clearly trying to redeem his strong attitude and personality, and trying to be more of a team player, and it’s working. He’s also a hell of a good cook, so he’s in it for the long haul.

2. Dana Cohen- Dana remains one of the top members of the red team. She isn’t exactly leading the pack, but is being a great team player, and should continue to sail through. She was able to dodge raw pork, and send the blame to her team, so she still remains clear of any blood on her hands.

1. Nick Peters Bond- Nick tops our leaderboard for the third week in a row. Why? Because he was the one left standing in his team, and didn’t hesitate to make the decisions he needed as to who should be in the oyster challenge. Nick has proven to be the voice of reason on his team, and has provided some great confessionals throughout the season. Right now, it’s Nick’s to lose.

I think there is a clear separation between strong and weak after the last episode. The top 6 are the top candidates for black jackets, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Milly, Barbie, and Elise make cases for it as well. I didn’t think Gio would go, and he went. So I could be wrong again this week.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Manda Palomino

I know who's leaving next episode. I disagree with Elise being one of the three weakest chefs though.
