Survivor S35 Power Rankings (Top 11)

imageI definitely had a feeling Jessica could be in danger, and I was right. It’s a shame to see her go because she had a lot of potential, but I truly think Cole ruined her game. I’m not a fan of Cole, but right now, he might not be the number one target, as the Healers are crumbling and the threats are emerging. Who will our winner be? I honestly have no clue, but here’s a breakdown of our final 11 going into the jury stage of the game.

11. Joe Mena- Joe went from the top to the bottom. There is going to be another idol in play, but I’m not so confident that Joe is gonna get it. He got way too cocky last tribal council, and I think he’s worsening his own chances, as well as his fellow Healers’ chances (Desi, Cole, and Dr. Mike). He’ll have to hope that Dr. Mike plays his idol on him… oh wait, Joe tried to target Dr. Mike on day one and call him out. There’s no way Dr. Mike is gonna stand up for Joe. Joe seems like a goner.

10. Cole Medders- Cole doesn’t have Jessica to tell him to stop eating food, he’s still good in challenges, and Ben still wants him gone. Bad news for Cole. The only thing separating him and Joe: Joe is a strategic threat. Cole just goes with the flow. They won’t go for Cole until they’ve gotten Joe.

9. Chrissy Hofbeck- Chrissy is running the show. But when you’re running the show, you have a higher chance of getting caught. She’s got lots of support, but if there’s an idol played, there’s a good chance Chrissy is on the opposite end of the vote.

8. Ben Driebergen- I thought Ben could be in danger last week, but really, he was in the swing position. He had the power, and he chose to side with Chrissy. My only worry with Ben, down the line, is that he was very vocal. “The lines are drawn,” he said, before snickering and smiling when Jessica was eliminated. If Lauren has a change of heart and goes back to Dr. Mike’s side, they may see that Ben’s trust is wavering, and may take a stab at him before Chrissy gets too much power. That’s why being in too many alliances could be a bad thing. Eventually, you’re gonna have to choose a side. Ben will either face the wrath, or continue to keep the peace…I’ll assume the former.

7. Desi Williams- Desi kicked butt in that challenge. Does that make her a threat to anyone? Maybe, but I still think there are bigger fish to fry, and Desi will continue on for some time. Especially if she doesn’t win immunity again, that target won’t be too big.

6. JP Hilsabeck- Getting rid of JP would be pointless, but we’ve seen crazier things on this show. People could get intimidated by his strength, but as we saw in the last challenge, the person with the most muscles doesn’t always win.

5. Ashley Nolan- Jessica’s elimination made me a little nervous for Ashley, seeing as how she’s part of a tight alliance with JP. But Ashley and JP aren’t cuddling, as far as we know, so I doubt anyone sees them as a big threat like Cole and Jessica were. Ashley seems to be in a good spot, floating along with the big majority alliance. If there is an idol played, I don’t think Ashley is the victim.

4. Devon Pinto- Devon was one of the more vocal strategists, trying to rally the troops against the Healers. This is either setting up a major downfall or blindside for Devon, or it’s showing a winner-type edit for him. It could go either way, but because everyone is still pinning Chrissy as the most threatening, I think Devon will skate (or surf) on by.

3. Mike Zahalsky- Mike has that idol. His saving grace. I do think, even without the idol, Mike is okay right now. He still has a bond with Ben and Lauren, and he is the most aware of the position he’s in. He’d leave Joe in a heartbeat, so I don’t think Mike will just side with the Healers till the end. He’s got tricks up his sleeve, and an idol to ensure safety this week if the worst case scenario happens.

2. Ryan Ulrich- Ryan could have faced a MAJOR downfall if Devon or Lauren was upset about the Ali boot. But if anything, it helped the three of them, because now they don’t seem as threatening because there’s only three of them. Devon and Lauren didn’t even cross him about the Ali boot, leaving Ryan with zero blood on his hands. Ryan just needs to lay low and let Devon and Chrissy do the dirty work, and he’ll probably be one of our final three.

1. Lauren Rimmer- I’m giving Lauren the top spot. She is right in the middle. She has the most leverage. She can go back to Dr. Mike and shake things up, she can stick with her Hustlers and Ben. Her options are there, and in Survivor, it’s always good to have options. She’s also not a threat to anyone, and everyone probably appreciates her work ethic. Check, check, and check.

Lauren, Ryan, and Mike are probably in the best spots because they’re letting their alliance members take all the heat, and they’re laying low. They should be safe. I think everyone else is vulnerable to an extent, but Devon, Ashley, JP, and Desi seem good enough to make it through. I worry for Ben and Chrissy, just because they’ve been showing their cards more than anyone else (except Joe). That brings us to Joe, who has shown all his cards, and has been deceived into flushing an idol. With no idol, he has no life preserver. And unless Cole is just that unpleasant when it comes to eating habits, Joe won’t see another day on Survivor.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Joe Mena

Shocker. Lol I personally think Joe is better in challenges.
