I think Nadia is the most relatable person on the show, because I had lots of friends like her growing up-- she's not rich, works hard, and deals with her strict parents and ignorant peers alongside her huge ambitions. She's just concerned with getting that bread after she graduates! Honestly, I couldn't believe how rude and intolerant the people at the school were just because she's Muslim? I've never been in social situations that bad, but maybe it's because they're all rich, sheltered, and unexposed to that kind of diversity?
She stays true to herself and her values, even if she's a little judgmental at times, like her shaming Marina for getting pregnant after Marina had always been there for her. But she also is growing more tolerant-- she's so supportive to her brother, Omar. She's also soooo well developed. My fav scene of hers is when she trips on LSD by accident and ends up in Guzman's pool. Who would have thought? LOL.
I also love her with Guzman, like 99% of the people who watch the show. They're from completely different worlds, but they aren't all that different. Her ambition is awesome, too. She's one of the only characters to have goals and not be a cutthroat sociopath, and she's the only female who isn't always screwing people over or getting into messy situations.
