1) Make it so players cannot buy from Shops at all when they own a Shop
Prevents players from just smacking the other players with their 20k+ T wallet by buying 1-2 of their own stock for 400-800 T each week and just auto-moving on. Barring them from buying from all Shops, and not just their own, potentially stops any monopoly situations where some very rich shop owners can work together to buy each other's stock to move on each week.
2) Make Shops Free to Buy / Enrollment System
Right now Shop prices are around 1,500+ T, which is insane as the maximum return profit anyone will get, assuming they sell all 20 designs is:
-For 200 T, profit of 400 T [1,100 T loss]
-For 300 T, profit of 600 T [900 T loss]
-For 400 T, profit of 800 T [700 T loss]
Basically, it is completely pointless to buy a shop right now as you will never make a profit unless you sell all your stock (Unlikely) and move on for at least 2-3 weeks.
By making shops free and having the winners determined by a lottery system (Similar to Stars Tickets) or by Enrollment at Shops day change for 0T, it gives people an actual reason to want to play the Shops game and provides the players who don't move on an actual T-prize for playing.
3) Make pngs able to be downloaded off the site again
This is a controversial change (To a very, very loud minority). I see both sides of the argument, however, hoarding designs for a specific, exclusive, inner shops circle and charging people to post 'Kylie Jenner that one time in KOTK episode 43 recolored charcoal grey' weave seems kind of wack to me. This would also slightly level the playing field and make people (The majority of the site) who have no pngs actually be able to compete in shops without seeing Wonderland Eyes, the Grin, and Gemma Basic weave posted 5+ times every week!
_Aria tea! But it will still remain in the hundreds which provided by my mathematical analysis, will likely never result in a profit for the user. If anything people will just be breaking even, or have a slight profit/loss
i will say one thing about the first one- i get where you're coming from but then i think it limits shop owners from purchasing designs they would actually want for themselves or using their T$ to gift their friends. small issue that might need some considering when thinking about that one
Slice I mean, it's basically impossible to gift any design under 200T at this point, and if you're getting a shop to gift your friend(s) multiple 200T designs it seems like a detrimental financial cost. Might as well ask someone else to post the design and not even buy a Shop.
For buying designs you want for yourself, the situation seems kind of similar to gifting your friends. Obviously you can post lower (As buying will open before gifting), but then you're stuck playing the waiting game for potentially 8 hours! Is it really worth stalking your own shop for hours just to be able to buy a 50T design?
oh i didnt mean from their own shop i meant from other designers' shops. i like the current no purchasing from their own shop but limiting them from buying from EVERY shop is potentially too far
Slice Then why even get a shop at that point...? Gifting shops are dead and if you're not trying to win and make a profit you're just wasting your own T.
