How would people buying designs

Nov 17, 2018 by Piddu
even know if the design was stolen or not? It makes no sense to penalize people without refund when they aren't even aware if the design was approved. If anything, moderators need to constantly be checking design lab and if they see something that is stolen, needs to remove it BEFORE it hits the shop page.

It was in the designs lab for a super short time before it was posted, and admin isn't going to check design labs every minute

Yeah it’s really sad. RIP my 30 dollars

As good as that sounds, it isn't something we can do. We don't automatically know if a design is stolen or not; we need to ask the shop owner if they can provide evidence of receiving approval from the designer.

Nor are any customers going to go around making sure things are posted are legal/posted with permission. GoodKaren

Admin but that same logic can be applied to people purchasing the design. They don't automatically know if a design is stolen or not. It just seems odd to punish them when they would have no knowledge of what the owner does.

Piddu If the same logic applies, they can also ask the shop owner if the design was stolen or not.
