when i was 15, i actively was seeking out men who were too old for me. just because i asked for the attention does not mean that they did not permanently scar me and take advantage of the fact that i was young and naive.

people who are 20+ and make a point to associate themselves with guys who aren't legal or are barely legal have a serious issue. they try to push the boundaries as much as they can because they wanna see what they can get away with and who they can control. when i was 15, i was dating a guy who was 19. 4 years is a not a huge age difference but when you're 13-17 you are going through one of the most hormonal phases of your life and are incredibly impressionable. if a man/woman who you put so much time and self-worth into says something or does something, you will mold yourself to please that image in ways that are detrimental to the psyche of developing, underage minds. men who talk to guys so much younger than them are actively aware of that and WILL, intentionally or unintentionally, manipulate and take advantage of that
Okay, pedophilia is defined when someone under 18 has intercourse with someone over 18. Basically, the reason it's illegal is because scientific research has shown that the minds of teenagers under 18 aren't developed enough to fully consent. The 50 with 20 year old thig is fine. And if the people are both below 18, charges aren't brought up.

If it's ten minutes beforehand then it would be considered fine since that woman has basically hit 18 and is mature enough. But pedophilia really depends on state or country as most have differing laws of consent age.
