Hello I will be ranking the lipsyncs from every season of Rupauls Drag Race. (US only).
Now please keep in mind before coming at me,
7th / 7 - Akashia vs Victoria "Pork Chop" Parker - Supermodel - Rupaul
Now this is in last place by a LOT. The first lip sync from RPDR ever. It was a mediocre performance by both. It was anticlimactic, and overall boring. I do think Akashia deserved to stay. Pork Chop was stumbling around everywhere. But who do we talk about more 13 seasons later? Akashia or Pork Chop? Who is the REAL winner?
6th / 7 Akashia vs Shannel The Greatest Love of All - Whitney Houston
This is next to last, but its not BAD. It was a pretty good buildup, to shannel doing her little thing with the headpiece which was good. Akashia was serving face and emotion, but besides the one stunt with the headpiece, there wasn't much going on. It may have been one higher if Shannel hadn't taken off the breastplate too. I'm not a fan of taking off the female illusion during the lipsync. I do think Shannel deserved to stay though.
5th / 7 - Jade vs Rebecca Glasscock - Would I Lie To You? - Eurythmics
This was a good lipsync. I wish it had been a little longer. From the edit that was shown I thought Jade should have been the winner. Especially with the split/motorcycle move. She was ahead of her time on that one. This would have been higher if it had been a little longer I think.
4th / 7 - Akashia vs Tammie Brown - We Break The Dawn - Michelle Williams
I debated putting this top 3. If Tammie had even tried a little, I may have been able to justify it. I believe Akashia delivered the best lip sync performance of the season right here. The pure emotion she showed. She even had guest judge Michelle Williams crying. ICONIC. As rupaul said: Akashia MOTHERFUCKING BROKE THE DAWN.
