so I have decided that I'm going to start wearing sunscreen throughout the entire year to protect my skin (particularly face) from any potential UV damage, especially now that I'm sticking to a consistent general skincare routine.
over the summer I've been using drugstore sunscreens, but I fear that the chemical UV filters (ie. avobenzone, octocrylene, etc.) in most US sunscreens are causing redness on my face because I keep getting redness no matter how many products I use that are designed to reduce or eliminate redness. it's also hard to find a good drugstore sunscreen that is sheer and leaves a matte finish, since I have oily skin and don't want to be using a sunscreen that makes me look even more oily.
I've been looking into purchasing a higher-quality mineral or Korean chemical sunscreen, but idk if I can justify spending upwards of 50 to 80 dollars on a good quality korean sunscreen on amazon or at sephora lol?? any suggestions?

I use la roche posay. It’s pretty nice and leaves my skin smooth. I’ve also head good things about Purito. If you find a nice high-quality mineral or Korean chemical sunscreen lmk pleaseZ
