68. Robert DeLong - Don't Wait Up // Sent by bibbles
TSC 345 - 8th place, 80 points (12 points given)
It's time for bibbles sole entry on my list, and of course it's from one of the only times she didn't send a rock song. I was pleasantly surprised by this when I first heard it, and secretly hoped that it would contend for the win. The production reminds me of Porter Robinson's 2014 album, Worlds, which is an album that has a lot of sentimental value for me. It was an unexpected but completely welcome sound to hear from bibbles.
67. Aurora - Animal // Sent by rodrigueseve
TSC 340 - 2nd place, 110 points (10 points given)
Animal is one of my favourite songs from Aurora. It's so ethereal yet feral. While it remains just as experimental as the rest of her discography, it has a more potent pop identity which is probably why I like it so much. It would have been a deserving winner, too.
66. SYML - Clean Eyes // Sent by Zurks
TSC 363 - 6th place, 85 points (12 points given)
I promise that this list isn't turning into an indie music countdown. Clean Eyes has a pure, simple indie sound that I'm very much into. It's such an easy listen. Definitely my favourite entry of Zirka's, possibly ever!
65. EVA - Touch Me // Sent by MISSimogen
TSC 366 - 17th place, 40 points (10 points given)
Spoiler Alert: This isn't the only song titled Touch Me to appear in my favourites.
I really wanted to hate this song when I first heard it, but I ended up falling in love with it instead. It's quite the departure from my typical music preferences, but I just think it's so catchy. The bit from 2:16 to 3:15 is absolutely magical. EVA slays me with the 80's influenced synth pop tune.
