Aww Patrick :( I know this is corny and overstated and you already know it but some of the most successful people were rejected over and over (JK Rowling, Einstein, Benjamin Franklin, Oprah) and they somehow drew strength from those rejections. I think this is an opportunity for introspection- I am also going through rejection problems- and the introspection I’ve been doing relates to: how can I draw from my failures and realize my shortcomings and come back stronger than ever?
When I got my first grad school rejection, I literally cried my eyes out because everything in life was just so shitty. I didn't know where to go or what to do, so I get it.
You are allowed to be sad, but you gotta keep pushing forward. Apply to other schools, apply to jobs, and the what not. You are gonna be okay, even if it doesnt seem like it right now.
