after about 2 months of studying I'm finally free. I got 155 on quant and 162 on verbal. My scores aren't great, but they're better than what I got back in August when I initially took the GRE after almost no preparation, and they're good enough to get into the type of graduate program that I'm aiming toward. When it comes to verbal at least, I improved my score by 12 points from when I took the test back in August, so I'm proud about that.
I have to admit that my study experience was horrible. If anything, I've learned that my studying is extremely passive. I was completely fine in undergrad, but I wasn't prepared for the type of studying I had to undertake for the GRE.
I do not think that I reached my full potential. I genuinely believe that had I been more diligent with my preparation that I could have reached 160 on quant (which was my obvious weak point), and a score in the high 160's on verbal, but I'll take what I got.

congratulations on your improvement, even if you aren't happy with the overall results that's still great!
