I was in my late teens when this happened and this was also a time when iamremedy and I would always play castings together. #MoneyShot was a mutual friend of ours and we had a skype group chat together among many others. One day, a few of us decided to premade a casting so we did. I didn't know him too well at this time and I only saw him as a mutual friend so I didn't think too much of him.
While in the casting, there were a few instances where he made some sexual remarks (there were about 3 other females in that game). It disgusts me to say this, but at first we took it lightheartedly as a joke and even played along. However, there were a few comments he made where I was thinking wtf but at the same time I was thinking, whatever, it's not that deep as long as it isn't offending anyone. It wasn't until one day when he completely crossed the line and made derogatory comments about women that I will not reveal. That was when I cut off all communication with him and made me realize I should have used my instincts from the beginning.
Not to mention, he was also one of the first tengagers I ever went on skype call with. Not sure why but soon after that there was a point where I stopped texting him and communicated to him solely using voice memos. He later revealed to me that he was apparently "obsessed" with listening to my voice and would play them over and over again even after our conversations ended. Who knows. He probably saves them all and has a whole folder of them.
I'm glad I stopped talking to him when I did.
Thinking back, I cringe about it to this day.
Also by looking at his raps, you realize how self absorbed and self entitled he is while also being very degrading towards women.
It's great to see so many people sticking up for themselves and being able to voice their experiences, compared to a few years ago where people feared of being judged/attacked and even getting banned for speaking out about their experiences with harrassment. It makes you realize you were not the only one and many people have gone through something similar and it's great to see everyone supporting each other <3
