Why the fuck

Are headphones so horrible? Specifically earbuds I mean.

All my earbuds I've owned literally break after usually less than a month of use, the sound in one bud goes out and I don't get it.

I bought new earbuds literally today and just tried them, STRAIGHT OUT OF THE PACKAGE, and they already don't work; the sound out of one doesn't work!

Wtf?
