Y'know I didn't think I'd like it at first cause it has some kpop-ish and bubblegum-ish elements which I usually find cheesy and annoying, but Rina makes it work. Literally sounds like an anime theme song mixed with a video game track and it works really well. It's just so much fun and Rina even has fun lyrically and through her little inserts of personality when she talks at times. Also I'm obsessed with the fact that at the beginning of the song, it's faded into the background before truly starting. It almost gives a vibe as if it's off in the distance and you're driving to it before it begins. Also I love the use of saxophone for the bridge! As an alto saxophonist, I lived! Purr!
#19 - Love Again - Dua Lipa
This is Dua Lipa's eighth entry on my year-end rankings. This is her highest placing song so far! Will she be able to beat it later on this year?
A song that is HEAVILY underrated by listeners of the album. A song that is HEAVILY underrated by even myself probably. This song...oh my god...it's a masterpiece. The way Dua tricked us in the tracklist placement. You see "Love Again", you see it's in the middle-ish of the tracklist, you begin to listen to it and you here violins at a somewhat slow pace. I, along with many others, were ready for a ballad. BUT DUA SAID "NO". She was like 'I'm gonna give you, yet, ANOTHER bop!' The way the violins are used throughout but in a more upbeat, pop aesthetic than sad and orchestral is so genius! Like seriously and the chorus is so great! Production snapped on it and it feels very high-class and fancy. The bridge and final chorus, though, is my favorite part of the song. I think Dua, as a vocalist, really shines here and we hear some emotion! It flows so well and it's just such a catchy, unique bop! Once again, Dua slayed.

Just simply beautiful. The vocals are just so beautiful. The production feels silk smooth as it meshes expertly with Rina's vocals to make a sound that's near perfection. The pre-chorus is stunning, but holy hell the chorus is actually stunning, especially when Rina elongates on the notes, especially when she's saying 'Tokyo'. When the chorus comes on, the aesthetic is very this gif...
But, like, at night and driving through Tokyo. Like I'm the bitch in the convertible with the hands out, feeling the wind in my hair, closing my eyes. Like, that's the vibe I get from the song and, honestly, that's one of the best possible things you could get from me. I feel like I can float in air while listening to this song. Walking on clouds! Rina sounds angelic!
#17 - WTF Do I Know - Miley Cyrus
This is Miley Cyrus's tenth entry on my year-end rankings. Her highest placement was last year with Mother's Daughter at #11. Will she be able to beat it this year?
I was always planning on listening to Miley's new project especially with how much I loved Midnight Sky and Prisoner as you can see from this list, but when I saw all the extremely positive reviews from youtubers, tengagers, my friends, twitter, etc...I got very intrigued and had a huge urge to listen to it ASAP cause it piqued my curiosity. This is the opening track and, quite literally, within, like, 10 seconds of the song, I already knew it'd end up in the top 20 on this list. I am soooooo, so, so, so, SO fucking happy Miley found the perfect place for her voice. This sound...it's perfect for her! Rock out queen! She just serves such boss bitch qualities in this song. Also the fact it, although a head-banger, is still actually very personal in the lyrics...holy hell, it's genius. The way she's singing to Liam. Scream it in his face PURR! Also the electric guitar...gag. The heavy usage of electric guitar throughout the album could've made it end up being annoying, but it works so well especially in this track. Miley slayed periodt.
