You know how I praised Rina's Snakeskin for being a great closer? Well it's time to praise Rina for a great opener with Dynasty! It really sets the tone for this chaotic album! The production just goes off and slaps so fucking hard and the fact that it just gets more and more intense as the song goes on makes it that much better. Rina's vocals are actually really great here! The chorus, honestly, is addictive and whenever I hear this song, I just need to play it 93784982 times in a row. The rock elements in this song are my favorite!

This is Ariana Grande's sixth entry on my year-end rankings. Her highest placement was last year with ghostin at #1. Will she be able to reach the top again this year?
Positions, the album, gets so much unnecessary hate, but it definitely is a grower and I can even admit, myself, that I wasn't huge on it at first, but it's become great as time has gone on. One song that has really grown with time is this song. What a great opener! The 34+35 remix basically confirmed that, with the track list, Ariana is telling trash 6ix9ine to shut up and I love that. She's literally singing to someone to shut up, yet she does so in such a beautiful way with 468372 self-harmonies and I love her use of the chromatic scale and everything just feels very 'floating on clouds'-esque and 'fairytale'-esque and I love it! Then the strings come in at the end and just really finishes it off with that 'disney fantasy' ending and I...just love it. Fun to sing as well!

Y'know, I'm not a huge Shawn fan and, if anything, he kind of irks me as a person cause his relationship with Camila Cabello is so cringe and he's looking like a hobo nowadays with his hair and he just seems very tryhard, but I will say that Shawn was DISRESPECTED by the industry this past year. He deserved success for his recent project but instead it's flopping and I just don't get it. I actually enjoyed it. This song, in particular, I could see blowing up on radios if he released it on singles. The production is just infectious and does a great job filling the mood and Shawn's vocals are actually really good and entrancing here! A bop!

I debated having this on my year-end top 100 cause, at the end of the day, it's just a cover, but it's a cover that came out this year, is on Miley's album, and a song that I've listened to on my Spotify, like, over 100 times in the past 2 months since it came out. Like...I'm obsessed with it. So I decided to put it on my list but have, like, limitations. Originally it was #51 cause I was like 'as long as it's not top 50' but then I eventually moved it down to #61 cause this is the part of my ranking where the songs go from purple tier to pink tier (my highest possible tier) and this cover is pink so I thought it'd suit best within the transition section. If this wasn't a cover, honestly, it would've definitely been top 10 cause it's so good. People need to put RESPECT on Miley Cyrus's name cause she is talented af!
