I was hesitant to get on the Rina train, but I'm so happy I did cause I was able to pick up a couple of gems. The build-up in this song is one of the best ever and it's so expertly done. A new element would get added every beat or two just to switch it up as everything became more and more grand before it breaks out into utter chaos EDM beauty! Also love the piano closing out the song!

Another TSC grab! I found it and submitted it myself one week and I'm so happy I found it! It's something that I usually wouldn't gravitate to, but holy hell Bree Runway is such a queen and she just serves confidence and iconic presence throughout the song and it's just such a fun song to bop out to!
#82 - Boys Will Be Boys - Dua Lipa
This is Dua Lipa's second entry on my year-end rankings. Her highest placement was last year with Don't Start Now at #20. Will she be able to beat it this year?
It's a common opinion that the last two tracks on Future Nostalgia (Good In Bed and this) are weak. I, obviously, heavily disagree! This is such a beautiful and MUCH NEEDED anthem! Fuck men PERIODT! Boys will be boys but girls will be women! Sing it! Dua Lipa calls out all the sexists and it's not in a Demi Lovato-try hard way where it comes off inauthentic. Like I truly can feel the sincerity through the vocals and it makes the song so much more powerful! This is stunning!

As an Arianator, I obviously know who Mac is. Like I will say it 34873982 times that Mac was Ariana's soulmate (and I'm so happy she found another one), and I loved them together. Their collabs were literally amazing! The Way and My Favorite Part are some of my favorite all-time songs! Beyond those, though, I never listened to Mac and that felt wrong, so I decided to listen to his posthumous album released this year. This is the opening track and the title track and I just think it's so beautiful. It is soooo simplistic, but yet so effective in hitting you in the feels. You really have to hear the lyrics and get in the mood. Once you do, it all just clicks and it's so beautiful and also sad at the same time. It's easily one of my favorite openers and title tracks of the year. Just so beautiful. It's this low solely cause I really have to be in the right mood to get into the song cause it hits me emotionally.
