Since I had so much time in quarantine, I listened to way more projects than usual, 40 to be exact. Most are albums, but there's 2 or 3 EPs in there so I thought it'd be fun to rank them!
#38 is.......Petals For Armor - Hayley Williams
Highlights - Barely anything. Charli actually had two songs place higher than any track on this album, but this is higher cause it was consistently meh. The album is separated into three discs of 5 tracks each. The highlight disc for me would be disc 2 because it has Dead Horse, My Friend, Over Yet, Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris, and Why We Ever, so all songs relatively in my top halfish. Obviously, Sugar On The Rim from disc 3 is my favorite though. I don't know, I respect the songs, but a lot of them are just not for me or my genre preference.
Lowlights - Definitely disc 1. Disc 1 consists of Simmer, Leave It Alone, Cinnamon, Creepin, and Sudden Desire. All 5 of those songs are in my bottom 6. It made me almost abandon the listen cause at first it was worse than Justin Bieber's Changes...it was THAT bad. Disc 1 was very experimental vocally and even production-wise too...but it was too weird and experimental for me and it felt like nothing came together, especially for Cinnamon and Creepin.
