Marwan ( 2388) is 100% the reason this song made this list. We used to be in a chat together and he spammed everyone for a whole weekend to listen to this and stream this and I did as I was told and immediately fell in love with it. I mean what's not to love? Bebe? Queen! Doja? Queen! A great, chill song! One of my favorite singles of 2020!

I should not be shocked that Sam was able to hit me in my feels a couple times through their album. This song is just...I have a personal connection to it cause it's a mood and a half and I remember being so emotional when I heard this album for the first time so this song hit me immediately. It's just such an "oof" song. Love listening to it while being depressed and alone! 🙃

This is Meghan Trainor's second entry on my year-end rankings. Her highest placement was last year with AFTER YOU at #36. Will she be able to beat it this year?
If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. Meghan Trainor is underrated af nowadays. People moved past her once, like, Me Too came and went and I think that's so unfortunate. A lot of her singles are, admittedly, trashy, but they're trashy good. Beyond that, though, through listening to her 2019 EP and her 2020 album, I've learned that I really love her slower deep cuts. This is one of them and I just think she sounds so beautiful in it! Also the acoustic version is so pretty!

Always thought Carly Rae Jepsen was overrated and overhyped by the gays but I decided to finally check her out this year and I ended up finding a gem or two and this definitely one of the gems! It's literally the intro to the album and it started the album at such a high! It just is such a fun song that's easy to get in the mood with and just break out dancing and having fun!
