So with a completely different producer (aside from Drama Club) Michael Keenan did all the songs and I gotta say, I really dislike his production style. The sound feels too light in all aspects (Story and feeling) and immediately upon release, outdated. Alot of you said Cry Baby hasn't aged well but I find this one to not age well despite being newer. And frankly, Melanie can find someone so much better that would understand her sound imo
That being said, I still enjoyed this for the most part, the story and movie are fun and she sounds really good

HeavyRain lmao while I find the lyrical content rather disturbing (albit very common in reality), Im in love with the production. Its one of the only sounds in the album that felt like it had weight to it.
Heavenlee omg, most of the reviews i've watched don't like it cause of the lyrics. I feel like it kinda drags at some points. Lunchbox Friends is prob one of my favs due to production.
HeavyRain really??? I don't feel that it drags at all omg. I love the scandal of the song its so good. The main reason I've seen for people not liking the song is they're uncomfortable with what it addresses - but I think that's the point to some extent lol it's obviously not romanticized, I love how she approached it. and tbh Lunchbox Friends took a good while to grow on me but now I love it
you are the ONLY person who has EVER rated this song as the best.
I respect ur opinion though.
