I saw an article that explained the issues of the shows format. While yes it is extremely problematic it lead to other articles about how poorly the show is edited...
While Big Brother 21 is a prime example, I am currently reading articles from 2009 about Big Brother 11's editing. I knew that Jeff made some gay slur remarks that was edited out but I didnt know how censored the fight between Braden, Lydia and Kevin was!
And then they continue throughout the editing of the fight despite Braden's racist remarks towards both of them being edited out, to make Lydia appear demented for getting offended over different remarks that are still bad.
As someone who did not watch the season live, I wasnt ever on Braden's side about the argument but I was always confused at why Lydia was extremely upset and getting very heated at Jordan as well (Jordan's part to which idk what she did was edited out. I think she was a bystander or something). It makes me reflect more on the show because I have definitely heard of controversies within the show about producer riggery and such with some of the editing but ive never seen it to be this bad...
And the fact that they edited out Chima's plea speech that same week about when Braden called Julie Chen a whore (to which I found out that her husband was on set the day he said it) is just boggling to me. Definitely makes me rethink alot about the show as a whole.

lmao in season 6 a lot of racist things were said as well
konohavillage1 see thats what I thought too however Lydia's fight with Jordan to my knowledge happened really close to the events with Braden and Jordan was nowhere to be seen in the backyard. So either the editing disregarded the possoble time lapse or there is a different reason to it. I know during the argument Lydia and Kevin spoke that Jordan has been more dtstant with them and closer to Braden but I dont believe they acknowledge anything to with her being on Bradens side after the fight like they did with Jeff.
