RPDR Season 6 Lip Sync Rankings

May 19, 2019 by NewNightmare7
My favourite season. How do the lip syncs compare?

12. Kelly Vs. Vivacious (Express Yourself) - The only thing I can really remember from this is Vivacious' stomping struts around the runway. Reminds me of Kenya Michaels. Aside from that I dont know anything else and ive seen that lip sync alot!

11. Darienne Vs. Magnolia (Turn the Beat Around) - I like the song...the lip sync, no. Darienne was fine scratching records and shaking her tits but Magnolia was a swordfish mess with horrendus tap dancing skills like damnnnn. The two part opening to this season was amazing but it is a shame how the two worst lip syncs came from them. Doesnt take away the amazing cast.

10. Darienne Vs. DeLa: Part 2 (Stronger) - Every lip symc from now on i like in some way so no hate for this one, I just find it to be a bit underwhelming especially to an uplifting song. Also I fault the outcome as well. DeLa I personally feel won that lip sync and would have made the final 4 fucking iconic cause like lets be real...Darienne is the worst part of ABCD which is why people call it ABC. But I guess Darienne was giving all her emotions and it like slightly shows but I still disagree with the outcome. Its still fun to watch.

9. April Vs. Vivacious (Shake It Up) - Correct me if im wrong but I believe this is the first Disney song to take place on the show? Its not a bad song either but its just a dance pop song with not alot of substance. April however, turned that shit out and was looking amazing while doing it, ngl. Giving choreography, a striptease I was living. Vivacious with her amazingly weird club kid outfit was having fun too but there wasnt really a chance. I think id be cool to see both of them return at some point.

8. A Vs. B Vs. C Vs. D (Sissy That Walk) - Im a fan of 24 and I love simultaneous shots on the same screen so I found this to be extremely entertaining and I understand why they did it since they had 1 V 1's instead of everyone together. Could have just done all 4 but whatevs. The lip sync is fine, all of them were doing pretty good. Nothing too much to standout but the way its edited has a huge impact on why its here and not more low.

7. Darienne Vs. DeLa: Part 1 (Point of No Return) - Did this lip sync garner a double shantay? No. Am I happy? Yes because queen DeLa would have been eliminated and I would have been so salty. I do think out of this one though Darienne won. She had good choreo and played a campy 80's vibe to a campy 80's song while DeLa was arm flailing, it was hilarious. It also got me invested in the song (its a good song). Definitely not the best but by far not the worst. They were giving good performances.

6. Adore Vs. Joslyn (Think) - Adore being the girl from the Ring in this lip sync was all I need. That shit was funny and I feel like that would be me if I were to lip sync just going completely over the top with facial expressions. Joslyn was fine, she preached but no one answered. Kind of hard to move in that dress so I dont fault her. Even if she did though, Adore would still go on to win cause she gave everything and more especially from a song that you wouldnt expect a performance like that.

5. Gia Vs. Laganja (Head to Toe) - Ooo damn. Laganja just death dropping right off the damn bat was like fuck! Gia had no chance. She was doing really good but like gurl, Laganja was just kushin' her way to victory. That jump split was pretty cool too. Dont see many of those on here so I'll take it. I do like the different styles both approached like Courtney said. It brought a fun balance and an overall ok outcome. I would have loved to see more Gia but after seeing more Gia, I take that back lmao.

4. Milk Vs. Trinity (Whatta Man) - While this is a high end lip sync and Trinity gave one of the best performances ever, I put it at 4th because Milk just had no chance. The other 3 lip syncs were really close and amazing and this one is great too, thats just really my only fault I have. Not everyone will have the right song so I dont fault it too much. Trinity fucking slayed though, giving all the soul you could ask for. Milk was like En Vogue to Trinity's Salt N' Peppa, she was doing fine but this was Trinity's song and no one would have beaten her. Also, Adore giving one of my favourite commentaries to any lip sync ever "She looks fucking bomb.com.org.co.uk" made me laugh so hard. I love this lip sync.

---These 3 are just as difficult as the 4 in season 5....ugh---

3. Adore Vs. Trinity (Vibeology) - This is Trinity's underrated lip sync which is a shock to say because all 3 of her lip syncs are legendary but it is. I dont see it talked about as much as the other 2 and maybe thats because she lost to Adore but she still gave it her all, looked great doing it and both gave great sex appeal to a Paula Abdul song right in front of her (I would have loved so see her watch Raja and Carmen). Adore did take it that one step over once again with kick ass facial expressions. She knew the power of the song and did not wanna let Paula down again from her time on American Idol and I was so impressed. Bumping and Grinding, it was a fun performance that both connected to not only the song but each other.

2. Joslyn Vs. Laganja (Stupid Girls) - This...was...tough...as...fuck to rank. Its an amazing lip sync and so worth the number one spot but I just cant and you'll see why. Laganja looked like the clear front runner before the lip sync began to turn out and it shocked everyone when Joslyn pulled her own weight and blocked Laganja's moves with doing the same thing. She took the power of Laganjas gymnastics away from her and I applaud miss Joslyn for that. What she didnt do though was follow Laganjas jump death drop, that looked like it fucking hurt so badly I was shook!!!!! While Laganja could have easily won for her Laganjaness lip sync, I think it was the right decision as it was her time to go. But wow, what an epic lip sync to a great P!NK song (we need more of her songs on drag race).

1. Trinity Vs. April (I'm Every Woman) - When I first watched this, I was just in awe of both of them with their beautiful dresses and giving so much emotion and nailing those words. I can rewatch this lip sync over and over and over, hell every once in a while, I do. Its so captivating that at episode 4, a wonderful lip sync was given. This I believe deserved a double save. Trinity proved to the world she is a powerful lip syncer and April while not being able to move put all the soul I could ask for into this. Something I hate is when people step off the stage to garner attention, but when Trinity just sat at the steps so elegantly and not up in their faces, I cant help but praise it. I love this song, I love this lip sync and I love these two queens. Please bring both of them back, we need a better representation of season 6 in all stars then what we have now.

Season 7 was the season I remembered the least about in terms of its lip syncs but having to rewatch over and over, we'll see where they stand.
