-𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵-
The tributes are placed on their respective pedestals. They are raised up on a rocky cornucopia on top of a cliff with about 7 or 8 pathways off of it. Below lies a dark abyss with a visible stream of water, and there are several cliffs visible just from looking around.
The tributes wait for the games to begin. Half of them appear to be nervous.

Cristian and Chris give each other a glance.

Auctavian is looking around. None of the other tributes can tell what he’s up to.

Lee is looking angrily at the other tributes.

The Winchesters glance at each other.
6...
Tinker is eyeing the other tributes.
5...
Sam is looking excitedly at all the weapons scattered across the cornucopia.
4...
Blossom looks sad as ever and glances at the bombs beneath her pedestal.
3...
Draevyn is glancing at the strongest tributes.

Deebo looks at Gambia while Gambia intentionally looks away.
1...
Blossom decides to take the easy way out.

The tributes have very little time to react as they realize they can now start collecting supplies.
Ricar immediately joins his district partner Jasmine, who has already met up with Grai. Grai is looking for her own district partner, who she spots going after Winchester Z.
Draevyn, not even armed with a weapon, tries to take hold of Winchester Z’s neck to snap it. However, Winchester Z dodges the attack and quickly grabs the nearest knife he sees. Before Draevyn can respond, he finds a knife in his neck.
Draevyn steps back in disbelief, only a few steps from the ledge leading down to the canyon’s abyss. Winchester finishes him off by ruthlessly shoving him.
BOOM!
Winchester Z meets up with Winchester P, who has collected supplies for the both of them without getting into trouble. The two of them escape the cornucopia without running into another tribute.
Meanwhile, Katarina is collecting supplies when she suddenly sees Tinker eyeing the careers, who have now met up with Cristian and Chris. She also notices Lee not too far from them, who also looks angry. She notices that they seem as if they are about to attack, and suddenly runs toward them.
Katarina: NO! They’ll kill you both!
Tinker and Lee both suddenly stop. The three girls eye each other, and without any other words, they all get the idea that the three of them should work together. They then run off with the supplies they’ve collected as Tinker continues eyeing the careers as she leaves.
Meanwhile, Sam has picked up a sword, and runs over to Kane with it. Kane has little time to react as he sees a small and disturbing kid run toward him. While he doesn’t get pierced with the blade, he is knocked over. Sam let’s out a sadistic laugh as he raises his sword, when suddenly...
BOOM!
A katana blade slices Sam’s head right off. The blade is wielded by Jared.
Jared helps Kane to his feet, and the two agree to stick together. They collect their supplies and run off.
Meanwhile, a bunch of other tributes have individually collected supplies and escaped. Candice was one of the first, and then Chelsea managed to escape, and then they were soon followed by Gambia.
Deebo tries to chase after her, but Gambia pays no attention to her brother as she collects supplies and attempts to leave on her own. She is soon stopped by Acerola, who attempts to kill her. However, she uses a weapon she has never held in her entire life. When Deebo goes to save his sister, he easily wins the fight with Acerola by stabbing her in the head.
BOOM!
Gambia takes advantage of the opportunity and runs away as Deebo finishes off Acerola. Deebo attempts to chase after her, but she is long gone.
Sireaux notices the situation, and decides to take advantage of it. He runs over to Deebo and tells him that he’ll help him find her. The two agree to align for the time being and chase after Gambia.
The careers have noticed that Acerola has been killed, and then notice Kioka dealing with one of the weaker tributes. He has taken Musa and is holding her up with two hands, preparing to throw her off the cliff to her death. Musa let’s out a depressing sigh before being thrown to a deep abyss.
BOOM!
Kioka then meets up with the remaining careers. They all collect supplies and are preparing to leave when they suddenly see a grenade flying by them.
They all panic to get away from the explosive when they suddenly notice it hasn’t been set off yet. The thrower, however, is standing only a few yards away. Auctavian smiles and waves at the careers from a distance.
Chris takes out a bow.
Chris: I got this.
Kioka: No, I got it!
Kioka quickly picks up the grenade and sets it off. He attempts to throw it at Auctavian, but he starts running away as soon as he sees the grenade become activated.
Kioka is holding the grenade in his hands as he tries to get a good aim.
Chris panics and runs toward Kioka.
Chris: What are you doing?! Throw the damn grena—
BOOM!
BOOM!

The impending explosion takes out Kioka and Chris in a millisecond. The rest of the careers survive.
Cristian is still processing the death of his friend. Jasmine has to drag him away as they leave.
Auctavian, who is now completely gone from the career’s vision, smiles as he looks in his bag. None of the viewers at home know what he’s about to do, but soon, he will set a trap that will claim another life.

Tinker, Lee and Katarina are walking along a trail chatting amongst themselves.
Katarina: So... why did you guys look so angrily at the careers?
Tinker: I just hate careers. They’re always so cocky...
Lee: And I’m pretty sure some of them were making fun of my name during training.
Katarina: Well... they’re careers. What did you expect?
Tinker: They’re exactly what I expected. A bunch of arrogant dicks who think they can’t possibly get killed by anyone or anything. I hate them.
Katarina: Well... not all careers are bad. The winner of the 101st games was a career, and he was actually pretty likable... I think his name was Kwen?
Tinker: Well... I wouldn’t know. I was 2 years old when that game took place.
Katarina: So was I... but the point is, careers can be good sometimes. A few years ago, a girl from District 2 sacrificed herself so a boy from District 10 would win the games. A couple years before that, a career boy and a reaped girl forms a romantic relationship and went against a majority alliance. And the year before THAT, there was a career with autism that everyone loved—
Tinker: Okay, okay. I get it. But I don’t think this year’s careers are any good. They just give off—
Suddenly, the girls hear something small falling behind them. They start panicking once they realize what it is.
Lee: GRENADE!
The three girls start running away as fast as they can. However, they stop once they see a giant crater in front of them filled with spikes. Katarina walks to the side of it while Tinker and Lee are frozen in front of it, trying to contemplate their next move, when suddenly...
The grenade goes off.

The explosion knocks the girls forward. Katarina is safe due to the fact that she wasn’t in front of the crater when the explosion took place, but Tinker and Lee are both knocked into it.
The two of them have been severely impaled.
Tinker has two gaping spikes coming out of her stomach, and Lee has one through her heart, with another through her mouth.
Katarina looks down at Lee as her eyes slowly close shut.
BOOM!
Tinker, who is still alive, looks up at Katarina. Katarina looks as if she is about to throw up, and looks as if she doesn’t know what to do. Soon afterward, she ends up running away, leaving her to die in the crater.
She then looks up to see another figure standing above her. It’s Auctavian.
Auctavian sees Tinker in her damaged state and smiles. He also smiles at the dead body next to her. Feeling like he just won the lottery, Auctavian leaves his trap with Tinker still inside of it.

Tinker has been stuck in the trap for hours, and it is now nightfall. She is thinking that this is how she dies, that no one is going to come and save her... that this is where her story ends.
However, a third figure suddenly shows up in front of the trap and glances at Tinker. Tinker notices the stranger, but cannot make out who it is. She can’t even tell if it’s a boy or a girl.
Tinker: P-please... help me...
The stranger looks as if he or she is making one of the hardest decisions he or she has ever made.
Then, the stranger carefully jumps into the crater and gently lifts Tinker out of it, pulling the spikes out of her stomach.
Tinker then senses the stranger carrying her in their arms, and they take her to a tent in a location she cannot make out.
Still unaware of who her savior is, she hears a soft voice whisper to her.
???: I have to go. I’ll be back to tend to your wounds. If you wanna stay alive, don’t make a sound. Get some rest.
Tinker already feels as if she is about to pass out.
???: If the other careers know I’m helping you, they’ll kill us both.
This sentence wakes Tinker up for a moment. She had been saved by a career. A career had actually saved her life. For a brief moment, her mind is active with confusion and hatred, when suddenly she begins to pass out again.
Tinker is then out like a light.

-𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽-
It is nightfall, and one by one the four remaining careers meet up at a tent they had chosen to meet up at.
Jasmine: So... did we find anything? I didn’t hear any cannons go off.
Ricar: No... I didn’t find anyone. Just a few other tents.
Grai: Yeah... same for me. Nothing but rocks and canyons.
Cristian: I was pretty distracted... I couldn’t stop thinking about Chris.
Jasmine: Same for me... it’s pretty empty up here.
One of these careers is lying.
Jasmine: It’s okay... this is the hunger games. They’ll show up eventually. So... we should get some sleep. Who wants to keep watch for the night?
Grai: I can! I’ll keep watch! I—
Ricar: No... no offense, but I don’t think I’d feel safe with a small 14 year old girl watching over us.
Grai: I... I actually do take offense to that. I’m tougher than I look!
Ricar: Listen, I think I’d just feel safer if I kept watch. I—
Cristian: Or I could do it! I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep anyway. You know... with Chris and everything.
Jasmine: That sounds good to me... what about you guys?
Grai and Ricar both sigh, almost in unison.
Grai: Yeah, that’s fine.
Ricar: Sure.
The careers then go to bed as Cristian assumes his post to keep watch.
At some point before the other careers wake up, one of the careers separates themselves from the group to tend to Tinker’s wounds.

-𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀-
Candice has separated herself from the other careers and has found a safe way down to the abyss. It is dark, and the only light she has is the night sky.
She notices she is stepping in water. Thirsty, she goes down to collect some.
She takes a drink...

...
...
...
The water is pure and drinkable.
However... it is awfully warm.
Candice notices the ground below her getting hotter. She cups her hands together to drink more water, but the water feels as if it’s boiling.
The ground begins to shake...
Candice attempts to step back, but in front of her a giant gush of steam comes bursting from the ground. The water, which is not completely boiling hot, slashes on Candice, injuring her.
Candice, in pain, runs in the opposite direction as more gushes of steam come out of the ground.
She is desperately trying to escape, feeling drops of boiling water splashing on her, when suddenly a gush of steam comes out beneath her feet.
The steam burns her skin severely. She falls on the ground where a puddle of boiling water awaits. It doesn’t take long for her to succumb to her wounds.
BOOM!
Suddenly, the fallen tributes of the day are shown in the sky.

What are these mysterious Hot Springs? When and where exactly do they appear, and will anyone else fall victim to them?
Who is the mysterious career that saved Tinker’s life? Which of the four remaining careers is it?

So Auctavian is definitely a villain.. which most likely means he probably won’t win but oh well, I’ll rack up as many kills as I can
Shame that my fave Blossom died, and my district partner Musa is gone too.
I’m gonna take a random guess and say Grai is the one who helped Tinker, just because I think she seems the least likely. I mean Ricar also doesn’t seem as likely but I’m just gonna assume Grai
