You’ve learned about your character’s backstories, and now it’s time to see what they managed to succeed with during training! I will reveal each tribute’s training score (out of 12 possible points) as well as a summary of their training.
-𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴-
Rick did well using a variety of melee weapons, and demonstrated brutal tactics with each of them. Shimmer’s preferred weapon was throwing knives, in which she always hit her target. She also demonstrated great intelligence. She could be seen talking and making nice with all of the other career tributes individually.

Mac seemed to be a little too focused on doing things better than everyone else during training, and as a result... there were plenty of moments when he screwed up. Still, he did show off skills using a machete. Emily also did well with a few melee weapons, and made sure to constantly show off. The judges didn’t really appreciate her attitude too much, however.

Logan seemed to work well using all kinds of small handheld weapons, and also knew a lot of basic surviving skills. Kaay didn’t really do well with any of the weapons, but copied some of Logan’s survival tactics after secretly observing him from afar.

LJ’s preferred weapon was an axe, which he used well, but the judges were super confused that he didn’t know how to properly use a spear considering who his father was. Tryffiny showed off her brute strength, along with her skills using swordlike weapons. She was seen talking with Shimmer more than any other tribute, and looked very relaxed and confiding when speaking to her...

Lawrence did well using spears, and the judges seemed to enjoy watching him talk to other male tributes, which he did not like. Lindsay did good using knives, but had plenty of slip ups during training. She even accidentally hurt herself when she pointed a bow and arrow at herself in the wrong direction.

Dizzle and Frangilla both goofed off during training, and never really took it seriously. However, Dizzle seemed to demonstrate skill with melee weapons.

Kyle and Kyla both just talked to each other for most of their training. They both didn’t do well with any weapons, and were bullied by most of the careers. They both seemed to have a strong bond with each other, however, and did well in survival tests together.

Yawn basically made the judges... yawn. He never really “used” the weapons, but rather explained in an overly long speech how each of them could be used. The judges were bored but determined that it should count towards... something. Bliss seemed to favor small handheld weapons, and the judges loved her aggressive attitude toward to other tributes whenever they even got near her.

There were two sides of Xanthos during training. One side that didn’t seem to enjoy holding the smallest knife, and another that ecstatically used a large sword to slice up a training dummy. The judges didn’t know what to make of it.. so they met in the middle. Rach seemed like she enjoyed holding weapons such as swords and arrows, but didn’t use them very well.

Rusty knew how to use a variety of explosives, and he knew how to assemble them as well. Drea always tried to go with her gut when picking a weapon, and usually always picked a weapon that didn’t suit her well.

Lime sadly didn’t want to pick up any of the weapons, and he never even took part in training. He just couldn’t bear himself to do it. Malibu looked like a kid in a candy store when picking a weapon, and realized she did well using spears.

Aidan and Ess both seemed to do well using bows and arrows, which was another similarity that strengthened their bond. It was clear that they were growing close as siblings, and they both helped each other a lot during training.

It’s now time for the interview portion of the games! Now, some of the tributes sadly didn’t attend. Kaay and Lime both decided to stay behind because they both were too scared and nervous. And Bliss refused to show up, giving the reporters the finger.
Everyone else, however, was asked a series of questions. Due to time constraints, however, I will only reveal their answers to one question. That question is...
“What do you think will be your greatest strength inside the arena?”

Rick: My vicious killing methods! I’m gonna gouge my enemy’s eyes out, and then delight chop of their limbs, and then when they’re begging for... well, you get the point.
Shimmer: Most careers might usually say their fighting techniques is their greatest, but for me... my greatest strength is my intelligence. Where I have brawn... and beauty (she winks)... I also have brains. That’s what’s gonna help me win.
Mac: My strength is that I KNOW I can beat everyone here. This is gonna be a quick game, because I’m gonna slaughter them all one by one really quickly! I’ll be the first victor in history to win so fast!
Emily: Well, I’m very skilled with my swords and my knives, as you may have seen. I’m pretty good with them. Not many people are, so I’m very lucky to have those skills!
Logan: I’m pretty good at managing on my own. I think that if I can avoid the other tributes, I can survive for a while, and maybe even win.
LJ: Well my greatest strength in this game has to be my devotion. I want this way more than anything. I want to prove to my dad that I don’t need to know how to fish to be famous.
Tryffiny: My greatest strength is... well.. my strength! I’m really tough, and I’m certain I could take a stab or two. They’d have to stab me multiple times before I go down.
Lawrence: Well I know one thing... it’s NOT being gay! Stop talking about that, that shouldn’t matter in the games! (This is followed by laughter from the audience)
Lindsay: I think it’s my strategy. First, I plan to fight the strongest tributes and align with them. Then, I’m gonna let them kill all the other tributes for me, and then I’ll kill them when it’s just us left! Oh wait, what if they try to kill me as soon as we meet...
Dizzle: My sense of humor! Hehe, I’ll be here all night!
Frangilla: My greatest strength is my ally Dizzle. He also happens to be my greatest weakness! HAHA!
Kyle: My best strength is I know that going into the games... I’ll have someone I can trust. My twin sister.
Kyla: My strength is Kyle. I just wouldn’t be strong without him.
Yawn: Well you see... (launches into a 45 minute monologue about what his strengths are) and in conclusion, I... hey, wake up!
Xanthos: I don’t know... there’s a side of me that only comes out at certain times, but I don’t know if he’ll be a strength or a weakness for me.
Rach: I’m nervous, but my greatest strength is that I’m used to doing things like this in D&D! They shouldn’t be that hard, right?
Rusty: I know my way around mechanical weapons. I think that gives me a leg up over my competitors.
Drea: Well, my best asset will be my instincts. I know that they’ll lead me in the right direction.
Malibu: My best strength will be that I’m gonna be spontaneous! I’ll be in there deciding what I should do next, and how I wanna spend my time!
Aidan: My new sister, Ess. I’ve only known her for a few days, and I feel like she explains so much about the unknown history of my family.
Ess: It’ll definitely be Aidan. I’ve learned so much about him and our father over these past few days, and it just feels like I discovered a part of myself when I met him. I feel like... a part of me was inside of him all along.

It’s time to see what this year’s arena will be!
This year the arena will consist of...

A giant sea with thousands of boats!
This arena will consist almost entirely of water. There will be very few areas in the arena where the tributes can step on the ground dry. These few areas include beaches on the end of the arena, a few buildings submerged in the water in certain sections, and of course, the cornucopia.
There will be plenty of boats for the tributes to travel with all around the arena. Some of them will have motors, and others will have to be steered manually.
Somewhere in the middle of the arena will be one of the most noticeable objects in the arena. A giant lighthouse!
This lighthouse will be accessible to all tributes. At certain points, the lighthouse will turn on and flash two spinning lights. Will that mean anything?
There are a lot of adventures to be had in this arena, and they begin 2 days from now when Day 1 is posted!
