Chef Ramsay: Good morning everyone!
Everyone: Good morning chef!
Chef Ramsay: Today, I want to test your adaptability. So... I’m going to ask you to make me a dish using an ingredient from each of these domes... when you hear a bell ringing, a dome will open, and you’ll have to grab one of the ingredients as fast as possible. Whatever you end up with will need to be incorporated into your dish is some way. Is everyone ready to cook?
Everyone: Yes, chef!
Chef Ramsay: Okay! Your time starts... NOW!
The chefs then cook their dishes. Some of them end up with less desirable ingredients, while others end up with the ingredients they want and/or need.
Chef Ramsay determines which chefs will face off against each other, as well as how well their ingredients work together on a scale of 1 to 5.

Just for curiosity, Chef Ramsay tastes Kinsington and Assi’s dishes.
Kinsington’s: This is delicious. These ingredients aren’t supposed to work together... but you’ve executed this dish so well, and it’s amazing!
Assi’s: Wow... it’s slightly raw in the middle. Total shame.
Chef Ramsay: The point wouldn’t gone to the Blue Team again. Red Team, you were absolutely smoked today.

Blue Team, I’ve got a great reward for you today... you’ll all be going down to the beach to spend the day at the boardwalk! You’ll get to visit all the popular boardwalk attractions and shops, and I’ll even give you some pocket money for souvenirs! You’ll also get to ride one of the most famous boardwalk Ferris Wheels! Halfway though, you’ll be treated to an amazing lunch. Get changed, you leave right away!
The Blue Team goes upstairs to get changed for their day at the boardwalk.
Chef Ramsay: Red Team... I’m starting to thing you’re cursed. For your punishment, I have arranged for you all to be driven out into a vast field to cut wheat. The entire field needs to be cut, and you won’t be returning to Hell’s Kitchen until it is. Get changed into something suitable... you’re gonna be out in the sun for a while.
The Blue Team enjoys their day on a boardwalk while the Red Team cuts wheat plants all day.
-Dinner Service-

Opal forgets to season 2 of her risottos while Vincent overcooks one of them, but after that, appetizers come out quickly.
When entrees are being ordered, Courtney has a few issues.
Chef Ramsay: Courtney! Did you cook this?
Courtney: Yes, chef.
Chef Ramsay: Oh yeah? Well guess what? The salmon is RAW. And look at this... PINK, RUBBER, UNSEARED SCALLOPS. You thought this was okay to serve?! GET A GRIP!
After Courtney’s blunder on fish, problems on the Blue Team’s meat Station begin to arise.
Chef Ramsay: Hey! Merk! Marjorie! I have 2 raw racks of lamb, 2 raw chicken, and 3 raw wellingtons! Who cooked these?
Marjorie: I cooked the chicken, chef. The rest was from Merk.
Chef Ramsay: Merk, is this true?!
Merk: Yes chef.
Chef Ramsay: Oh my god! You’re sinking tonight, aren’t you? Fucking hell...
Meanwhile, Assi overcooks 2 of her wellingtons and Crystal overcooks her scallops. Kinsington also undercooks 2 of his garnishes. Despite their faults, all three of them bounce back.
However... Veronica is having troubles of her own.
Chef Ramsay: We need garnishes! Veronica!
Veronica: Coming right now chef!
Chef Ramsay: Wait... stop! That one’s clearly burnt, right?
Veronica: Oh... yes, chef.
Chef Ramsay: We also have 4 dishes ready and you’re only bringing up one garnish! How long until the next one is ready?
Veronica: Uh... 8 minutes chef!
Chef Ramsay: 8 minutes... the dishes will be cold by then. Way to go, you just sabotaged your team!
Veronica: I’m sorry chef!
Chef Ramsay: Fucking hell...
Despite Veronica’s mistakes, garnishes eventually leave the kitchen with their entrees.
Both teams are able to compete service.
Chef Ramsay meets with both teams afterward.
Chef Ramsay: That was a very bumpy ride. To be honest, it’s underwhelming. I was expecting this service to be better than last night’s, but it was just as bumpy and rocky, if not more. That is why the winning team tonight...

Is neither of you. I want both teams to think long and hard... and then nominate the one person you think you’d be better off without.
The chefs then go upstairs to discuss who should go up.
The Blue Team comes to a decision quickly. They all decide that Merk screwed up the most tonight, so he should be going up. Merk tries to fight the decision, but Kinsington says he’s the team’s weakest link right now.
The Red Team is having a more difficult time. Veronica says her vote is for Courtney for her poor performance on fish. Courtney says her vote is for Veronica for her poor performance on Garnishes. Opal sides with Veronica while Assi sides with Courtney, leaving James as the deciding vote.
-Elimination Ceremony-
Both teams meet with Chef Ramsay for elimination.
Chef Ramsay: Have both teams reached a decision?
Everyone: Yes, chef.
Chef Ramsay: Vincent... who is the Blue Team’s nominee and why?
Vincent: Tonight, our nominee is Merk. Out of all of us tonight, he sent in the most raw food. And at this point chef, we think he’s the weakest link.
Chef Ramsay: Interesting... James, who is the Red Team’s nominee and why?
James: Tonight, we nominated...

Veronica. She made every mistake in the book tonight on garnish, and we honestly can’t see her as a leader.
Chef Ramsay: Okay... Merk, Veronica, step forward!
Merk and Veronica both step forward and state why they should stay in Hell’s Kitchen. Chef Ramsay asks Merk if he’s given up, and he says no. Chef Ramsay asks Veronica if she’s given up, and she says no.
Chef Ramsay: Okay... my decision is...

Veronica rejoins her team and leaves Merk alone in front of Chef Ramsay.
Chef Ramsay: Merk...

Merk then takes his jacket off and hands it to Chef Ramsay.
Chef Ramsay: You tell me that you haven’t given up, but over these past couple of services, you’ve continued to send up raw food. I can clearly see from your cooking that you are done. Goodnight.
Merk then thanks Chef Ramsay for the opportunity, shakes his hand, and leaves Hell’s Kitchen.
Chef Ramsay: With more and more of you leaving... you should be getting better. But tonight, I didn’t see any improvement in the slightest. If I don’t see it soon... I’ll be eliminating you at an even faster pace. Is that understood?
Everyone: Yes chef!
Chef Ramsay: Goodnight.
The chefs then head to their dorms for the night.
As Chef Ramsay walks up to his office, his voice narrates the scene.
“Merk’s cooking tonight proved to me that he gave up, so I ultimately gave up on him.”
