The chefs wake up bright and early for their challenge.
Chef Ramsay: Good morning everyone!
Everyone: Good morning chef!
Chef Ramsay: Today, I thought I’d take you all on a little trip. Limo’s outside, let’s go!
Confused and excited, the chefs hope inside the limo. They are all taken to a restaurant that they all recognize.
The all step out of the limo to see Chef Ramsay standing on the outside of the restaurant.
Chef Ramsay: I hope you all recognize this restaurant... this is none other than the PRIZE restaurant for this season!

One of you WILL become the Head Chef at this restaurant... so I thought I’d let the five of you get familiar with it! Let’s go inside, shall we?
The chefs then enter the restaurant.

Inside, they find nearly every table to be full of hungry diners.
Chef Ramsay: Oh, by the way, this will be the battleground for your next challenge! These diners all want food... that’s where you come in! I want you all to make a small dish. Make sure you cook enough for all of these diners to eat. After your done, the diners will taste each of your dishes, and then rank all five from their favorite to their least favorite. The winner of this challenge will be the chef who gets the most votes for favorite. Get ready, because your time starts... NOW!
The chefs then spend the next 60 minutes making their dishes.
When they’re done, they spend their time talking to the diners trying to influence them to vote their dish as their favorite.
Eventually, all of the diners vote, and Chef Ramsay carefully analyzes the results.

Jay looks happy to hear he won. The crowd of diners claps for him.
Chef Ramsay: Jay, that’s 2 individual challenge wins in a row! For your reward today, I have arranged for you to have a private helicopter tour over San Francisco! You’ll be treated to an amazing lunch when you land... it sounds so nice, you shouldn’t experience it alone! I’d like you to pick a chef to experience the reward with you.

Chef Ramsay: Alright! I’ll be joining you as well... please hop back in the limo, I’ll join you shortly!
Jay and Europe then go inside the limo.
Chef Ramsay: Jake, Maurice and Pierre... while Jay and Europe are our having a wonderful day, you’ll be spending the day in here. All of these plates and silverware that the diners used needs to be washed, and since the kitchen was used today it needs to be cleaned and sanitized. While you’re at it, I’d also like for you to clean the floors, the windows, the seats... basically the whole restaurant. You’re already here, so... go ahead and get started. You’ve got a lot of cleaning to get through.
Jay and Europe enjoy their helicopter tour while Jake, Pierre and Maurice get through their day of cleaning.
-Dinner Service-
For tonight’s service, Chef Ramsay will have each chef take a turn as his Sous chef. Here are everyone’s stations.
Meat Station: Jay
Fish Station: Maurice
Garnish Station: Jake
Hot Apps Station: Europe
Cold Apps Station: Pierre
Jake is the first person to take the role. He notices that Europe has forgotten to season her Risotto, and tells her to season it. His performance as a Sous Chef is respectable. Chef Ramsay has ranked his Vocalness on a scale of 1 to 10.
Jake’s Vocalness: 5/10
Up next is Jay. He is extremely vocal, and he points out that Jake is forgetting some of his garnishes.
Jay’s Vocalness: 8/10
Up next is Pierre. He is a respectable Sous Chef, and makes it clear that Jay has sent in raw lamb. He also makes it known that he has send in undercooked wellington.
Pierre’s Vocalness: 6/10
Up next is Maurice. He makes sure he is heard most of the time, and he points out that Jay has overcooked his lamb. He also tells Jake that his garnishes are being sent in too early.
Maurice’s Vocalness: 5/10
Up last is Europe. Jay sends in overcooked wellington again... but Europe doesn’t notice. Even though Chef Ramsay tells her, she still isn’t really vocal at all...
Europe’s Vocalness: 1/10
After this, the rest of service goes smoothly. Chef Ramsay meets with the remaining chefs afterwards.
Chef Ramsay: Well... we had a lot of respectable performances from all of you! There were definitely a few bumps... but we all got through it. However... this is still a competition. I want you all to think about everything that’s happened so far, and nominate 2 individuals for elimination.
The chefs then go up to the dorms to discuss who should go up.
Maurice suggests that Jake and Jay should go up, stating that they have been the most inconsistent throughout the whole competition. Jay disagrees, and says that Pierre should go up in his place, believing he has been inconsistent. Jake’s suggests Jay and Europe should go up, stating that Europe is not fit to be a leader. Europe says Maurice should be considered as well, because he has been slipping as of recently.
It’s a difficult decision, but everyone eventually agrees on 2 people.
-Elimination Ceremony-
The black jackets meet with Chef Ramsay.
Chef Ramsay: Have you all reached a decision?
Everyone: Yes, chef.
Chef Ramsay: Okay... Europe. Based on everything that’s happened so far, who is the first nominee and why?

Jake. There are nights when he does really well, and there are nights when he messes up really bad. We think a head chef should have the ability to do well all the time.
Chef Ramsay: Very interesting... okay. Jay, Jake, step forward.
Jay and Jake step forward and state why they should stay in Hell’s Kitchen. Chef Ramsay says tonight was Jay’s worst service yet, but Jay says he knows he’s better than this. Chef Ramsay tells Jake that he may be buckling under the pressure, but Jake says he can bounce back.
Chef Ramsay: This is incredibly difficult. My decision is...

A saddened Jake walks over to Chef Ramsay.
Chef Ramsay: Young man... you’ve been one hell of a competitor. You have an incredible talent for cooking, and I cannot ignore you’re passion. However, you’ve had minor inconsistencies throughout this competition, and I know you are not ready to be a head chef.
Jake looks like he’s about to cry.
Chef Ramsay: Keep that head up high, and promise me you won’t stop.
Jake is now crying.
Jake: I definitely won’t chef. I promise.
Chef Ramsay: Good. Please give me your jacket.
Jake gives his jacket to Chef Ramsay and leaves Hell’s Kitchen.
Chef Ramsay: Now... let me tell the rest of you something. You each have a 1 in 4 chance of becoming the Head Chef at the Pink Willow Boulevard. And tomorrow... I’m going to be cutting the playing field in half. 2 of you will advance to the finale, and 2 of you will be leaving. There are only 2 spots in the finals... make sure you get one of them. Is that clear?
Everyone: Yes, chef!
Chef Ramsay: Get out of here.
The chefs retire to their dorms for the night.
As Chef Ramsay walks up to his office, his voice narrates the scene.
“Jake is a talented chef with a bright future ahead of him. But when compared to my final 4, it’s clear that he’s not the leader I’m looking for.”
Chef Ramsay then hangs Jake’s jacket, and his picture burns up.
