The Blind Taste Test!
The chefs look excited after hearing this.
Chef Ramsay: In case you need a refresher, here are the rules. I will call up one member of each team and put blindfolds and headphones on each of them. I will then feed them an ingredient, and relying solely on their palate, they’ll have to identify what ingredient they just tasted. Is that understood?
Everyone: Yes, chef!
Chef Ramsay: Oh, and one more thing.
Suddenly, two big slingshots are brought into the room.
Chef Ramsay: While a member of your team is tasting, another member will be in front of this. If the taster gets 3 ingredients wrong, the chef in front of the slingshot will be shot with a bunch of water balloons filled with... CHOCOLATE! And if they get 4 wrong... WHITE CHOCOLATE! So who’s ready to taste?
The first 2 chefs to taste are Jay and Europe. Pierre and Candy are chosen to face the slingshot.
Jay has scored a respectable 2 out of 4, leaving Pierre dry. Europe has failed to identify a single ingredient, and Candy is now drenched in both regular and white chocolate.
Blue Team: 2
Red Team: 0
The next 2 chefs to taste will be Jake and Maurice. Jay and Europe are now in danger of being drenched in chocolate.
Jake has identified only one ingredient, getting Jay soaked with regular chocolate. Maurice, however, scored an impressive 3 out of 4, leaving Europe dry.
Blue Team: 3
Red Team: 3
With the score tied, Nick and Kourtney are called to taste next, with Jake and Maurice facing the slingshots.
Nick fails to get a single food right, leaving Jake drenched in both kinds of chocolate. Kourtney, however, has gotten every ingredient right, and leaves Maurice dry.
Blue Team: 3
Red Team: 7
The final pairing is Pierre and Candy. Nick and Kourtney are now facing the slingshots.
Pierre has also managed to get a very impressive 4 out of 4. Candy, however, has only gotten 1 ingredient correct, causing Kourtney to get soaked in chocolate. However, that one point is what helped the Red Team win.

Chef Ramsay: Red Team, well done! For your reward today, I’ve arranged for you to go on a shopping spree at one of the best malls in Los Angeles! I have $2,000 for you all to spend consecutively... divide that amongst yourselves however you’d like. Get changed, your limo leaves shortly!
The Red Team goes upstairs to get ready for their shopping spree.
Chef Ramsay: Blue Team... that was so close... but you unfortunately fell shy. For your punishment, you will all be cleaning up the mess from last night’s family night. That includes picking up trash, wiping the tables clean, vacuuming the floors... you’ll basically be cleaning all day. Go upstairs and rest while you still can.
The Red Team enjoys their day buying clothes while the Blue Team spends the day cleaning messes in Hell’s Kitchen.
-Dinner Service-
With only 4 chefs on each team, everyone will be running their own station tonight.

Pierre and Candy start out the night by sending in over-seasoned risotto, but they both make no mistakes after that, causing appetizers to come out smoothly.
As Entrees begin to be ordered, problems begin to arise in the Blue Kitchen.
Chef Ramsay: NICK! Look at this! Fucking raw lamb!
Nick: Sorry, about that chef.
Chef Ramsay: Oh, your sorry? Look at this then! The wellington is raw as well! Why did you think these were good enough to be served?!
Nick: I don’t know chef.
Chef Ramsay: Come on!
After that, the red kitchen has some issues as well.
Chef Ramsay: Kourtney! This lamb is burnt to fuck!!!
Kourtney: Sorry, chef.
Chef Ramsay: Don’t start spiraling downward!
Kourtney: Yes, chef!
There are a few more mistakes from both kitchens. Nick sends in raw wellington again, while Jake sends in unseared scallops.
Maurice and Jay both have communication issues.
However... one mistake in the Blue Kitchen crosses the line for Chef Ramsay.
Chef Ramsay: Oh my god... NICK! Look at this shit! The third raw wellington in a row... come here you!
Chef Ramsay takes Nick into the storage room.
Nick: I’m sorry chef, I—
Chef Ramsay: What the fuck has happened to you?! You started this competition off so strong!
Nick: I don’t know chef, maybe it’s just because I’m working alone on a station.
Chef Ramsay: Oh yeah? Well guess what, a head chef has to do that every fucking day!
Nick: Chef, I... I—
Chef Ramsay: Listen, you’ve been going downward ever since this competition began, and you are clearly not recovering. You are not ready to be a head chef.

A saddened Nick takes his jacket off.
Chef Ramsay: Front door! FRONT DOOR!
Nick then walks through the dining room with his jacket off, confusing both the diners and his teammates.
As he waits for his ride home, Nick talks about how he buckled under the pressure and how he tried to hard to get his shit together... but he was never good enough.

Chef Ramsay: Don’t worry about him, focus on cooking!
After Nick’s unexpected departure, the rest of dinner service goes smoothly. Both teams finish with little to no mistakes.
After everyone has left, Chef Ramsay meets with both teams.
Chef Ramsay: In case you’re wondering what happened to Nick, all I’ll say is he won’t be coming back. But after he left... we all performed greatly. This was one of your best services so far.
Everyone looks happy.
Chef Ramsay: However... this is still a competition. And I need to keep it moving. I need both teams to come to a consensus on who they think should go home tonight.
The chefs then head upstairs to begin discussing.
The Red Team makes a decision quickly. Candy tries to claim that she had a better service tonight than her last couple of nights. While the red team agrees with her, they still think she’s the weakest link. Candy says Maurice should go up again because of his failure to communicate, but the rest of the team thinks she’s delusional.
The Blue Team, having only 3 members, has a more difficult time deciding. Jake suggests Pierre should go up because he’s had minor inconsistencies throughout the competition. However, Pierre says Jake should go up because his voice isn’t heard much in the kitchen, and he can’t see him running a brigade. Jay is the tie breaking vote, and he quickly makes a decision.
-Elimination Ceremony-
Both teams meet with Chef Ramsay:
Chef Ramsay: Have both teams reached a decision?
Everyone: Yes, chef!
Chef Ramsay: Maurice, who is the Red Team’s nominee and why?
Maurice: Our nominee is Candy, chef. She definitely had a better performance tonight than last night, but we still think that compared to the rest of us, she’s our weakest link.
Chef Ramsay: Okay... Pierre, who is the Blue Team’s nominee and why?

All 7 chefs raise their hands.
Chef Ramsay: Good... you all want it. However... only 6 of you will get one. Tomorrow, you need to show me that you deserve a black jacket. Is that clear?
Everyone: Yes, chef!
Chef Ramsay: Get out of here.
The chefs then head off to their dorms for the night.
As Chef Ramsay walks up to his office, his voice narrates the scene.
“Nick started off this competition strong, but as he got farther, all he did was sink. And tonight, he hit rock bottom.”
Chef Ramsay hangs Nick’s jacket, and his picture burns up.
