Take a good look at all of the tributes. All of their distinct personalities and backstories... all of their backgrounds...
When this is all over, only one of them will still be alive.
The rest will meet a tragic end.
So... let’s get the games started!
-The Bloodbath-
It’s almost time for the games to begin. The tributes are placed in an underground cave on respective pedestals, with a giant shiny crystal in the center of the cornucopia. There are also plenty of other caves to walk into... but no one knows where... or what... they lead to.
The tributes are patiently awaiting for the timer to hit 0. They all wait, trying to think of what their strategy is when the games begin.
10, 9, 8...
Gerult and Kirby eye each other, looking like they have a plan.
7, 6, 5...
Merk looks at all the bigger tributes, scared of eventually facing them.
4...
Brock looks at all of the careers. They all don’t like him that much, but he has a plan to get them on his side.
3...
Tree stands on his pedestal, completely emotionless.
2...
Tyreek and Crystal look at each other, trying to determine their next move.
1...
JayJay looks like he’s about to have the time of his life.

The tributes all begin running for supplies.
Christine looks incredibly scared of the entire environment and just runs off without collecting supplies.
Hilary is able to get to the weapons she wants to get to, but she also runs into Treka. Hilary tries to shove Treka out of her way, but Treka overpowers her, grabs a sickle, and slices her throat with it.
Hilary looks in disbelief as she bleeds to death.
BOOM!
Treka then... rubs Hilary’s blood on his face like warrior paint... collects his supplies, and runs off.
Herrera is desperately looking for good supplies to use. He locks his eyes on a bag and tries to run for it, but he runs into JayJay. JayJay makes quick work of him, snapping his neck and then looking like he’s having the time of his life afterward.
BOOM!
JayJay meets up with his District partner Clove, and they both start looking for the other careers.
Lovelace is looking for a tribute to kill. She spies a small girl and decides to kill her. Little does she know that the girl she just picked is Zeena.
Lovelace is running toward Zeena armed with a Spear. Zeena acknowledges her presence, and throws a knife at her in reflex.
BOOM!
The knife hits her head, and Lovelace immediately goes down.
Zeena then gathers her supplies and runs off.
Meanwhile, Eden has grabbed a bag of supplies and is trying to run away when she is greeted by Shimmer, armed with an axe.
Shimmer: I’ll take that!
Shimmer then swings her axe into Eden’s skull.
BOOM!
Shimmer then sees her district partner Asher, who is looking overwhelmed by the whole situation. She guides him to JayJay and Clove, and they then look for the remaining 3 careers.
Brock is looking for Meredith. He has a spear in his hand, and he figured if he can kill the one tribute who is more hated than he is, maybe he can get some respect from his fellow careers.
He eventually finds Meredith collecting weapons, and then makes sure the career pack is watching. He then throws his spear...
BOOM!
It’s a direct hit. The spear has flied through Meredith’s skull.
Brock collects his spear and joins the other careers, who are looking impressed.
Chanel and Wyatt bump into each other while looking for supplies. Chanel pulls out a knife, expecting a fight, but Wyatt calls for a truce.
Shocked and relieved, Chanel pits down her knife. Chanel and Wyatt then collect supplies together, and they form an alliance while running off together.
Merk is collecting weapons when he is gretted by Kiara.
Kiara: Not so super now, are you?!
After horribly quoting her idol, Kiara takes a stab at Merk. However, Merk easily dodges, and out of fear, he takes a knife of his own and slices Kiara’s throat. Kiara... the poor child... bleeds out in sadness and disbelief.
BOOM!
Merk then finishes collecting his supplies and runs off.
JV has been sloppily collecting his supplies, scared of being given a brutal death.
He then bumps into Barley. Barley raises his trident in response, but JV immediately starts running off in another direction, scared for his life. Confused, Barley finishes collecting his supplies and runs off in the direction JV ran off to.
Tyreek and Crystal have been avoiding trouble for most of the bloodbath, and they have their supplies ready to go. They are both about to leave cornucopia when...
A knife flies into Crystal’s skull.
BOOM!
Tyreek looks in horror at his dead sister, and then at the scary girl who comes to collect the knife in her head.
It’s Kirby.
Kirby: Okay babe, your turn!
Tyreek then feels his throat being slit. He turns around to see Gerult holding a bloody knife.
Tyreek falls to the ground, looking defeated.
BOOM!
The District 5 couple then meets up with the rest of the careers. Now complete, the careers look for more tributes to kill.
JayJay: Is... is that everyone? Are we the only ones left?
Brock: Looks like it.
Shimmer: Well... we didn’t do too bad in the bloodbath! We got some kills in, and only one of us died! That’s a success!
The 7 careers then excitedly celebrate.
Clove: Come on, let’s go!
The 7 of them walk through a tunnel. After a few minutes of confusing turns, the eventually find themselves in a new part of the cave.
Kirby: Whoa... what the hell are those?
Asher: They’re h-houses...
Gerult: What?
Asher: Th-they’re houses... a g-group of people could live in th-them.
Asher is right. The careers are in a huge cave room with seemingly no ceiling, and on the walls are a bunch of small houses, seemingly built into the cave walls. There are a series of bridges connecting the houses, and there are ladders that allow access to the houses closest to the ground.
Clove: Well, looks like we know where we’re sleeping tonight!
-Is It Water?-
Tree is walking through the caves, having escaped from the bloodbath with supplies undetected.
He finally comes out of the tunnels to discover...
A series of different waterfalls.
There seems to be 50 of them in the room, and each one seems to be producing fresh water.
Tree looks “excitedly” at them all.
Tree: Oh cool. Water.
Tree goes to the nearest water fountain, and then takes a drink.
He feels refreshed... but that feeling quickly changes.
For the first time in his life... Tree develops a complex face expression.
His eyes are wide and his mouth is open, because he is gasping for air.
Tree can’t breathe, and he is beginning to believe he was poisoned. He struggles for breath, feeling is throat closing even tighter.
He falls to the ground as his face turns bright red. He begins sweating.
Tree continues to struggle for air... until...
BOOM!
That night, the fallen tributes are projected onto all the crystals stuck in the ceiling since the sky isn’t visible.
