The tributes take their places and enter the arena, standing on their respective pedestals waiting for the timer to hit 0.
10... 9... 8...
The tributes look around the tropical arena, trying to see what awaits within the forest.
7... 6... 5...
The careers look at each other.
4...
Rachael is keeping her eyes on Belfio.
3...
Jake looks like he’s about to burst into a mess of tears.
2...
Fabio isn’t taking the countdown seriously.

Nacho looks like he’s about to start running with everything he’s got.

-The Bloodbath-
Nacho had a muscle strain as soon as he started running.
Everyone has gotten into the center of cornucopia while Nacho is still on the ground in pain.
Nacho struggles to stand up, out of breath.
As soon as he gets back to his feet, he suddenly sees the blur of someone getting closer to him, when suddenly...
BOOM!
The top half of Nacho’s body suddenly drops to the ground. The bottom half follows afterward.
There is a giant spew of blood and guts.
Mariana lifts up the katana sword she quickly grabbed from the Cornucopia and looks for her career allies.
Jake has not moved from his pedestal, afraid of what will attack him once he does. He stands there hoping no one will notice him, when he suddenly locks eyes with someone he doesn’t recognize. He suddenly starts running into the woods when suddenly...
BOOM!
An arrow suddenly shoots right through Jake’s eye.
The arrow was shot by Cross, the person who he locked eyes with.
Mariana runs up to Cross, and the two begin to look for the other careers.
Belfio is trying to grab a bag and run. He goes for one, but is suddenly stopped by Zajn. She is wielding a sickle. She raises it up and prepares to strike, when suddenly a spear shoots right out of her neck.
Suddenly, the spear is pulled out, and Zajn quickly succumbs to her fatal injury.
BOOM!
Rachael is then seen holding a bloody spear, having already collected supplies. She gets Belfio to his feet as an arrow short right by her face.
Cross noticed that Zajn has just been killed. He attempts to kill Rachael to get back at her, but Rachael is able to run off into the woods with Belfio before he can land a hit.
Meanwhile, Polis and Trev have met up with each other, and have already found some water in one of the supply bags. They also notice that Summer is trying to find supplies. Suddenly, they get an idea.
Trev runs to Summer and holds her in place as Polis pours water all over her skin. She screams in pain, and suddenly starts suffocating. She is held in place until she stops breathing and goes limp.
BOOM!
The two then meet up with Mariana and Cross. They all are looking to see if there are any other tributes they can kill, while also looking for the other careers. Cross then notices Novak and Amelia attacking a tribute of their own.
Novak and Amelia have been constantly stabbing Sun, who is laying on the ground, injured but alive. She is bleeding out when Amelia finishes the job by smashing her foot against her skull.
BOOM!
Cross then signals Novak and Amelia and the two join the career pack. Now, all they’re looking for is Agatha.
Meanwhile, Ben and Row are with one another, though they don’t like it at all. They notice that Chicago is right next to them, looking for supplies. Out of paranoia, Row runs over to him and quickly snaps his neck before he can realize she’s there.
BOOM!
Ben, in shock, starts running as Row follows.
Meanwhile, Gabbie is collecting supplies. However, she is suddenly tackled by Agatha.
Agatha is about to stab Gabbie to death when her throat is suddenly slit.
Gabbie is able to get away from Agatha and runs off as Agatha bleeds to death.
BOOM!
After Agatha is dead, her killer starts smiling.
Ariya is standing behind Agatha’s corpse with a bloody knife. She is suddenly so queuing with excitement.
Ariya: That was great!!! I’ve never felt so ali-
An arrow suddenly flies through her skull.
BOOM!
Cross noticed Ariya celebrating. He then saw his district partner dead on the ground, and quickly avenged her death.
After that, what’s left of the career pack quickly runs off.
-On the Move-
Mobile has escaped Cornucopia undetected, and is quickly making her way into the forest.
There are a lot of diverse plants around, and there is what also seems to be a river.
Mobile takes some water from the river, and then gets a great idea. She begins to cut down small trees with an axe that she was able to grab, and then starts tying the pieces of wood together to form a raft.
She then starts to move it into the river. She begins floating down it, quietly starting to fall asleep.
-Explosives-
Nano and Patricia have managed to escape Cornucopia together. They have both found a couple treehouses to hide out in. (Yes, those things are present in the arena. They have bridges that link them together and everything!)
Nano: Do you think we have a chance?
Patricia: We survived the bloodbath, right? We have a chance just like everyone else who survived.
Nano: I guess you’re right...
Suddenly, they can hear someone throwing things at their house.
They look out to see Fabio with a pile of rocks, and no supplies at all.
Fabio: Whadya know? There ARE people here! You better come down, or I’m coming up!
Fabio is talking in a manor that suggests he doesn’t care.
Nano: I wouldn’t take a step closer... we have the place rigged with explosives.
He is obviously lying, they haven’t had the time to set up explosives. He gives a suggestive nod toward Patricia.
Patricia: Y-yeah! That’s right! If you don’t leave, we may even throw a grenade!
Fabio looks at the tall grass in front of him, and then looks at the District 3 tributes. He then laughs.
Fabio: You think you’re so smart, huh?
Nano and Patricia start exchanging nervous glances.
Fabio: This isn’t over... you gotta come down at some point.
He then throws one final rock, and leaves.
The two then sigh with relief.
-A Night With Careers-
The Careers have found a cozy treehouse to camp out in for the night. They have made a campfire on ground floor.
Trev: I’m gonna look for other tributes before we go to bed!
Mariana: Okay! I’ll come with you an-
Trev: NO! I’m going by myself!
Polis: Are you sure? You may not be able to take some of them on your own...
Trev: Of course I can! I’m the strongest tribute here!
The other careers look at each other in disbelief.
Trev then walks off.
He walks for a few minutes and then notices the river.
At that moment, Mobile’s raft happens to be floating by.
Trev: Bingo...
At that moment, a machete is swung into Trevor’s leg before he can attack Mobile.
He turns around to see Tommy holding a machete.
Trev: You’re gonna pay for that!
Trev then takes a swing with his knife at Tommy, but he is able to easily avoid the attack and stab Trev again, this time in the other leg.
Trev falls on his knees, in pain.
Tommy drags his body to the river and begins trying to push him under.
Trev is struggling to breathe.
Trev: STOP! I’M SUPPOSED TO WIN! YOU CAN’T DO THIS!
Tommy continues to hold Trev underwater until suddenly, he stops moving.
BOOM!
Tommy then runs off as the careers investigate the cannon.
That night, the fallen tributes are projected in the sky.
