Yesterday, the games officially began. There was a huge amount of carnage, and many tributes died. However, a great amount of them are still alive. Of course, that won’t last long...
-Somewhere in the Bedrooms-
Sparkle is hanging out in a bunker bedroom, having slept there for the night. She has taken her bow and arrow, and is trying to listen for other tributes, seeing if it’s safe to travel.
She is about to step out when she can suddenly hear the faint sound of footsteps.
She sees this and immediately runs back into the room, leaving the door slightly open just like all the other ones are to avoid suspicion.
The footsteps grow closer, and Sparkle recognizes the voices of the other careers.
Timothy: Where is everyone?
Dani: We just need to keep looking, we’ll find someone eventually.
Seth: What about the other career girl? What if we find her?
Dani: Well she’s not working with us, so we’ll just kill her like we would with any other tribute.
Sparkle obviously can hear this, but she isn’t surprised.
Suddenly, a loud crash can be heard in the distance.
Seth: Did you hear that?
Timothy: Something happened!
Dani: Yeah Timothy... that’s what it seems like. Let’s go check it out.
The three careers then run off to investigate the noise.
Sparkle then takes a deep breath and quietly makes her way to a new location.
-The Noise-
The Careers are at the very end of the hallway investigating the noise. They’re checking room after room, when suddenly Seth notices something.
It’s a bookshelf. It’s leaning against the wall on its side. It’s almost as if someone pushed it over on purpose...
Seth: Hey... look at this.
Timothy: Is that the noise?
Timothy enters the room as fast as he can, while Dani hasn’t even had a chance to get there.
Seth turns around and suddenly notices that there are a bunch of papers on the floor, and some of them have small visible red lights under them.
Timothy is about to step on one.
Seth: Tim, DON’T MOVE!
Timothy: What? Why?
Despite Seth’s warning, Timothy steps on one of the red lights.
Seth: Oh fu—
BOOM!
BOOM!
...

...
...
Timothy stepped on a landmine.
The explosion was large enough that the whole room was demolished. Dani was almost in the room when it was set off, but didn’t get there in time. Therefore, she was lucky enough to survive.
However, the impact of the explosion did knock her against the wall, stunning her for a few minutes.
After the smoke dies down, someone comes out of the bathroom in the room that was booby trapped with explosives.
This person is Kaleb.
He looks around and sees what’s left of Seth and Timothy’s bodies, and then sees that Dani is knocked to the ground outside of the room. He quickly runs off.
Kaleb is running through the hallways trying to get away from the chaos, when he suddenly runs into two other tributes.
Kaleb looks up to see Matt and Jadine.
Kaleb crawls away at first, but then Matt starts talking.
Matt: Hey... did you cause that loud boom?
Kaleb: Y-yeah...
Jadine: Really? Did you see who you killed?
Kaleb: I think the... boys from Districts 1 and 2?
Matt: Wait... did you seriously kill 2 of the careers? That’s huge!
Kaleb: Listen... I’m not looking for trouble.
Jadine: No, no! We aren’t either! You know... going into this game, all me and Matt had was each other. But it doesn’t have to be that way!
Kaleb: Are... are you saying... you wanna align?
Matt: Honestly, yes! The three of us could be unstoppable if we work together.
Kaleb: How... how do I know I can trust you?
Matt: Well... you don’t. But in all fairness, we don’t know if we can trust you either. But I think we should all roll the dice.
Kaleb thinks about what to do. After a while, he gives a nod of approval.
The three of them then run off together, looking for a good place to hide out.
-The Mines-
Dennis and Hayden are traveling in the second to last level of the bunker, which appears to be an industrial looking area.
Hayden: How big do you think this place is?
Dennis: Well... i-it’s a hunger games arena, so... it’s probably... pretty big?
The pair stumble across a set of stairs. They decide to go downstairs to the lowest level of the bunker.
Dennis and Hayden have entered the mines... the same area where Cesaro died in the last episode.
The two have no idea that they are in a lot of danger.
Dennis: This place is s-scary.
Hayden: I know... I wish I wasn’t so stressed out right now.
The two continue walking... when they notice the tunnel ahead of them is collapsed.
They also notice the tunnel they are currently in is shaking, and soil is beginning to fall.
Hayden: RUN!
The two begin running back to the stair case that led them down there. They both are running as fast as they can, but the collapse is gaining on them.
Dennis suddenly trips.
He’s too scared to call out for help, and therefore Hayden doesn’t notice.
Dennis just lays there scared as he waits for the inevitable.
BOOM!
Hayden makes it back to the staircase, barely escaping the collapse. Even though he’s back in the industrial level, he’s still running. Until... he bumps into someone.
He begins to crawl backward when the figure calls out to him.
Mystery Person: Whoa! Calm down!
Hayden recognizes the figure as the girl from District 8, Ji.
Ji offers Hayden her hand.
Ji: Hey, I’m not gonna try to kill you. As long as you don’t try to kill me.
Hayden: Aren’t we gonna have to try to kill each other at some point?
Ji: Perhaps... but it would probably be smarter if we worked together for the time being.
Hayden: I...
Ji: Look, you don’t have to work with me, so if you want I can just leave you down here.
Hayden: No! I-I... I would love to be allies.
He then takes her hand.
Ji: Great. And don’t try anything, because I can easily overtake you if you try to betray me.
Hayden: Trust me... I wasn’t planning to. I didn’t even know we would be allies 2 minutes ago!
Ji: Okay... good.
The two then run off together.
-The Kids-
Tycen and Agatha have been hanging out in the highest level of the bunker, right below ground. This level is mainly just hallways and offices. The kids are hanging out in an office, while Patricia is still tied up in the corner.
Tycen: I’m so hungry...
Agatha: Me too...
Patricia: I can find us some food! Just let me go!
Tycen: We’re not falling for that! We’re not gonna let you go.
Patricia: I don’t wanna be here! Why can’t you just let me go?!
Tycen: Because we don’t want you to die!
Patricia: I’m not gonna die, I’m gonna escape! Just please stop tying me up!
Tycen: I’m sorry, we can’t do that.
Agatha: What is her problem?
Tycen and Agatha then talk in the corner for a few minutes, unaware that Patricia is getting loose.
Agatha: What are we gonna do for food?
Tycen: I don’t know... but we also have to find some for Patricia too.
Agatha: She doesn’t even wanna eat unless she’s super hungry, I mean look at her... wait, WHERE DID SHE GO?!
Tycen turns around to see an empty chair.
The two run out to hear Patricia making her way up the stairs to the surface.
Tycen and Agatha run out to see Patricia climbing on top of the bunker entrances (they’re all one big connected circle surrounding Cornucopia). She makes her way to the top, and then prepares to jump to the other side.
Tycen: Patricia, don’t!
Patricia: Leave me alone! I don’t wanna be here! I wanna go home!
She is moving closer.
Agatha: But if you get to close—
Patricia: I said leave me alone, I’m about to be FREE! Goodbye Hunger Ga—
Suddenly, Patricia is electrified by the arena border.
BOOM!
Tycen and Agatha are freaking out over the sight of Patricia’s dead body. They both realize that the sound may alert other tributes, and then run off to the nearest bunker entrance.
-The Cafeteria-
Catpiss has been hanging out in the Cafeteria, the third and middle level of the bunker. She has spent the whole day hanging out in one of the kitchens when she decides to step outside and try to find a new place to stay.
Catpiss: It’s all real... my life is at stake... I could actually die...
Catpiss is still shocked at the fact that her conspiracy theories were proven to be false.
Mystery Voice: Yes, you could actually die! And you WILL actually die!
Catpiss: What? Who’s there?!
Catpiss begins running when she runs into a familiar face...
Dunkin, the tribute that killed Catpiss’s district partner.
Dunkin: Well hi there, Princess! Did you have a nice sleep last night?
Catpiss is frozen in fear.
Dunkin: How would you like to sleep forever?
Catpiss then immediately starts running. She runs into the nearest cafeteria and moves a bunch of tables behind her so they’ll be in Dunkin’s way. She then goes into the kitchen and locks the door.
She then stands in silence for a moment.
She hears footsteps, and then she hears nothing. She quietly opens the door...
No one.
...
...
...
...
...
And then Dunkin pops up behind the door.
Catpiss runs back inside and tries to shut the door again, but Dunkin is able to get to it in time. Instead of entering the room, Dunkin just stands in the doorway.
Dunkin: Oh this is gonna be awesome. Everyone calls this a Molotov cocktail.
Catpiss then sees that Dunkin is holding a beer, with a handkerchief inside of it. In another hand, he has a few matches.
Catpiss then notices there’s a bunch of alcohol spewed across the room. She realizes what’s about to happen.
Dunkin then lights the handkerchief.
Dunkin: Well... have fun going down in flames!
Catpiss: NO! I DON’T WANNA DIE!
Dunkin then throws the Molotov Cocktail and closes the door quickly, barricading it from being open with a chair. He then sees a bright orange light coming from under the door, followed by a painful scream.
He simply walks away with a smile on his face as he listens to Catpiss’s screaming, followed by complete silence.
BOOM!

That night, the fallen tributes are projected on the TV’s.

The Boy from District 2
The Boy from District 8
The Girl from District 10
The Girl from District 12
Well... we are down to the Top 10!
Now that Dani is the only career left (excluding Sparkle, who isn’t really aligned with anyone), will she be able to survive on her own, or will she be stopped by what’s left of the careers?
Will the kids from District 6 survive on their own, or will something end both of them... or worse, someone?
Kaleb is now aligned with Matt and Jadine, and Hayden has aligned with Ji, but will the alliances last?
And even with just 2 careers left, what will the tributes do when they encounter Dunkin, a brand new kind of Hunger Games psychopath?
