Timothy seemed to excel with standard melee weapons. He also seemed to be good with just his own strength as well. However, by no surprise, he wasn’t great during the intelligence tests. Sparkle seemed to do great with Agility themed tests, and was pretty handy with a Bow and Arrow. However, she didn’t really talk to anyone during training... not even her district partner.
Seth and Dani were handy with knives. They also made a career alliance with each other, as well as Timothy from District 1.
Kaleb and Timberlie seem to be skilled with explosives. Timberlie also seems to be opening up to Kaleb more, and the two seem to be working together.
Mark and Ellie both seem to be great with Spears. They also performed well in strength tests. They have also seemed to team up with the other careers as well, but they were also ignored by Sparkle.
Dunkin seemed to perform well with most of the blunt force trauma causing weapons, while Xonox performed well with all of them. She’s clearly viewed as a front runner to win, but this isn’t what she wants.
Tycen and Agatha didn’t really do well in any of the tests because... they’re both 12. But they did seem to want to work together.
Matt and Jadine had excellent teamwork in the tests together, and they worked well in the intelligence tests. They seem to be handy with sharp handheld weapons.
Dennis performed above average with small handheld weapons, but didn’t really talk much with the other tributes. Ji surprised the panel by doing excessively well in the strength challenges, but the careers are still confident they can take her down.
Hayden seemed to work well in the intelligence challenges, but didn’t really do well with weapons. Rachelle tried her luck with the bow and arrow, and she got one of her shots close to the very center. She though this was her weapon, even though all of her other shots weren’t very accurate.
The District 10 tributes performed poorly this year. Mason didn’t do well in any of the tests, and Patricia didn’t even show up at all. She spent the whole day trying to find a way to escape. Obviously, she was unsuccessful.
Cesaro seemed to do well with throwing knives. Rue, however, didn’t do well at all, but still decided to blame everyone else.
Pita and Catpiss didn’t really take training seriously, and only focused on asking the capitol when they were gonna be told how the games would be staged. Obviously, this caused a bunch of problems with the peacekeepers.
Then the interviews begin, none of them had any interesting answers, careers talked about being happy to be there, Sparkle talked about the opposite, the reaped tributes talked about how they would win, blah blah blah... cut to the start of the games.
As I mentioned before, this years arena theme is a giant underground bunker.
-The Bloodbath-
The games begin in less than 2 minutes.
The tributes are all standing nervously in anticipation.
Cornucopia is above ground, but is completely surrounded by multiple entrances to the giant underground bunker that the games will take place in. Each entrance seems to lead to a different part of the bunker.
The counter ticks down.
10, 9, 8...
Tycen and Agatha look innocently at each other.
7, 6, 5...
Catpiss and Pita both look at each other, still thinking someone is gonna come out and tell them how to stage the fight.
4, 3...
All of the other Careers are eyeing Sparkle, who clearly doesn’t want anything to do with them.
2...
Timothy is trying to remember which number is the one that signals the start of the games.

Xonox is thinking of a way to stop her scientists 16 years of torture on her.

The tributes begin running for supplies.
Rue and Sparkle begin running for the same bag. Sparkle is able to grab it first. Rue takes a swing at her, but Sparkle immediately snaps her neck in self defense.
BOOM!
Sparkle picks up a bow with a couple of arrows and enters the bunker.
Rachelle is randomly deciding which bag to go for, hoping luck will be on her side. She picks one near a bunker entrance, and decides to run for it. As soon as she steps forward, Dani cuts her head clean off with a strong and swift swing of a machete she picked up.
BOOM!
Dani wastes no time entering the bunker.
Ellie sees Ji going for the throwing knives and attacks her head on. However, she underestimates Ji’s strength, and Ji overpowers her by bashing her head against the wall a couple times. As Ellie is stunned, Ji finishes the job by sending a throwing knife into her skull.
BOOM!
Ji takes her supplies and enters the bunker.
Mason is trying to just grab a bag and run, avoiding the weapons altogether. However, he runs into Seth as he tries to run off with one. Seth makes Mason’s death quick and painless with a simple neck snap.
BOOM!
Kaleb and Timberlie are trying to team up, and escape into the bunker together after getting supplies. However, they run into Timothy, who quickly attacks them out of reflexes. He picks up Timberlie and bashes her head against the wall until she stops moving.
BOOM!
Kaleb, however, is able to get away with his supplies. Timothy also goes to the bunker, unaware that he doesn’t have any supplies.
Xonox decides that she doesn’t want to be a major part in these games, and that the best way to avoid them is simply... death. She notices Seth, who has not entered the bunker yet, and acts like she’s about to charge at him. Seth quickly grabs a knife and sticks it in Xonox’s head while she does nothing to fight back.
BOOM!
Seth runs off into the bunker after killing Xonox.
In District 5, a group of scientists mourn over the fact that they wasted 16 years of their lives preparing a test subject that didn’t even survive the bloodbath.

Meanwhile, Hayden is collecting supplies when he is attacked by Mark. As the two are struggling, another figure slices Mark’s throat with a sickle as he’s distracted.
BOOM!
Hayden looks up to see Dennis holding a bloody sickle.
Dennis: Are we a-allies? Or should I...
Hayden: Sure, let’s just get out of here!
Dennis and Hayden then run off together.
Catpiss and Pita are together getting supplies, wondering why they haven’t been told how to stage the fight yet. They go to the bunker together when they are encountered by Dunkin.
Pita and Catpiss don’t believe they’re in danger until Dunkin kicks Pita out of his way by kicking him down the stairs. When Pita reaches the ground, something cracks and he stops moving.
BOOM!
Catpiss is shocked at the sight of her dead friend. Dunkin runs off, and after realizing that she will also be fighting for her life, Catpiss does too.
Matt and Jadine collect supplies together, going unnoticed by the careers.
Tycen and Agatha are also able to do this, while also dragging Patricia with them, scared that she’s gonna get herself killed trying to escape from the games.
Cesaro is also able to get away, but he is clearly separated from everyone else.

-The Mines-
All of the tributes who made it into the bunker are usually in a bedroom or a cafeteria, but Cesaro seems to be in a mineshaft.
He spends the entire day looking for a way out, with no clue of what time of day it is.
After a while... the mineshaft he is exploring is rumbling.
Rubble and debris begin to fall down.
Cesaro: HELP! THE CAVE IS COLLAPSING!
Cesaro tries to call out for help, but no one can answer him. All he can do is run as fast as he can out of the shaft, but it seems to be going on forever, and he doesn’t even know where to go afterward.
Cesaro is running, but the collapse eventually catches up to him, and he is consumed by soil and debris.
BOOM!

-The Kids-
Later that night, there isn’t really any more violence. Tycen and Agatha are together with Patricia, who seems to be all tied up.
Patricia: Let me go! I wanna escape!
Tycen: Patricia, you’ll hurt yourself! We should stay together, the 12 year olds usually are the first to die!
Agatha: He’s right, don’t you wanna live?
Patricia: No! I wanna go home!
There is no need to show you the rest of this ridiculous conversation.
-Careers-
Seth and Dani have managed to find each other, and have been looking for Timothy.
Dani: TIMOTHY! Where are you?
Timothy then calls out.
The three meet up, and they discuss their plans.
Seth: Should we look for that District 1 girl too?
Dani: Forget her. I tried to talk to her during training, and she just ignored me. She seems to be by herself.
Timothy: Yeah, forget her! She’s a bitch!
Seth: Whoa, please don’t refer to women like that. It’s not respectful.
Dani: Respectful? We’re literally trying to kill each other!
Seth: Yes, but that doesn’t mean we have to behave like animals.
Dani: Whatever... what about those District 4 kids? What happened to them?
Suddenly, a nearby TV in the bunker turns on.
It projects the fallen tributes since they can’t be viewed in the sky.

Dani: Shit... no matter. Even without that District 1 girl, we’re gonna be unstoppable. There’s no way we won’t be able to kill all of these tributes... I mean look at us!
Timothy: Yeah! We rule!
Seth: Tim, with all due respect, you add literally nothing to our conversations.
Timothy: Stop using big words!
