A group of 5 consisting of Kwen, Cris, Wanda, Sony, and a very injured Carol camped out for the night inside a building to avoid the acid rain.
TB and Jessie are still camping out at their building after discovering the corpse of Hannah, unaware that the District 2 siblings Franzi and Citrine are hot on their trail.
And Ivory is currently hiding from Beck, who is on top of a building shooting arrows at will.
And now... the continuation of these 3 storylines. Remember, only one person from these storylines will be alive when this this all over!
Welcome to Day 3.
-The Group of 5-
After waking up to a storm free environment, Kwen, Cris, Wanda, Sony and Carol have decided to move to the center of the city after the storm to find a better place to camp out. Carol is still injured, but is able to walk without assistance, although she does have a slight limp.
Carol: Are you sure it’s okay to team up with a career? I’m not sure about this...
Kwen: Hey, I helped save your life. I promise you, I’m not like the others.
Carol: Hmm... you seem pretty pathetic for a career then.
Kwen: Oh yeah? Look who’s talking! Look at you, if you didn’t have us, you wouldn’t last very long.
They are saying this with smiles on their faces.
Wanda: You two are just a couple of misfits.
Sony: We’re all kinda misfits!
Cris: You know what, that’s who we are! We’re just a big, pathetic misfits alliance!
Everyone is now laughing.
Sony: The misfits alliance! I really like tha-
An arrow suddenly shoots through Sony’s skull.
BOOM!
The group’s touching moment is suddenly cut short at Sony’s body falls to the ground.
Wanda can only watch in absolute horror and disbelief as Sony’s body goes limp.
Cris: Someone’s shooting from the rooftops!
Kwen: Everyone take cover!
Carol opens the nearest building she can.
Carol: In here!
The group runs inside. Wanda tries to carry Sony in, refusing to believe he’s dead.
Kwen has to drag her inside. This leads to him being shot in the shoulder.
Cris and Carol tend to his wounds as Wanda mourns over Sony’s death.
-The Duo-
TB and Jessie have been at their camp, unaware of what’s going on in the center of town.
TB: Hey... do you think we should hunt for other tributes sometime soon?
Jessie: I don’t know... maybe we should wait until there are fewer tributes left. That way we won’t have much competition left.
TB: What happens if it’s down to just us two?
Jessie pauses for a moment.
Jessie: Then may the best man win.
They both stand in silence.
TB: Man... I can’t even imagine fighting you.
There is a faint slicing sound in the background, followed by a gurgling sound.
TB: I mean... we’ve worked together all this ti—
TB turns around and sees that Jessie’s throat has been slit.
TB: Wha—
Suddenly, someone standing behind TB slits his throat open too.
TB turns around, neck bleeding and struggling to breath, to see Citrine.
Standing behind Jessie with a bloody knife is Franzi.
Citrine: Surprise!
Jessie and TB fall to their knees.
Franzi walks over to Citrine as TB and Jessie look up to them.
Franzi: You guys are terrible at keeping your hiding place a secret.
TB and Jessie continue to bleed out.
Citrine: Let’s go win this thing.
Franzi and Citrine then walk away from the murder scene they created, paying no attention to the cannons going off in the distance.
BOOM!
BOOM!
-The Standoff-
Ivory has spent the entire night hiding out in the car he hid behind last night. He managed to crawl into it after breaking it’s rear window.
He awakens to see Beck still at her post, and then mumbles to himself.
Ivory: Dammit, doesn’t that bitch ever sleep?
Ivory stays in the car for a moment until he notices that Beck has her sights elsewhere. He sees her fire, and then hears people screaming in the distance. He realizes this is his chance to get closer to her.
She is distracted for quite a while, allowing Ivory to get close.
Eventually, she turns her head and notices that Ivory is getting closer.
Ivory waits for another shot, hiding in anticipation. However, Beck has spotted something else. This causes her to get back inside of her building.
Ivory notices, and gets even closer.
-Back to the Group-
The Misfits Alliance has been hiding out all day, and it is now nightfall. They haven’t even realized Beck has been gone for hours until they notice Ivory hanging out outside.
Cris: Hey... who’s that?
The four of them recognize Ivory as the boy from District 8.
Carol: Hey... the shooter isn’t up on the roof anymore! This is our chance!
The group then runs to meet up with Ivory.
Ivory stares at them for a moment, terrified.
Kwen: It’s okay, we’re not gonna fight you! We can work together for the time being!
Ivory stands there for a moment, and then speaks.
Ivory: I-
Ivory is suddenly cut off by the thing that drive Beck back into hiding earlier.
MUTTS.
For this hunger games, they’ve been designed to look like birds. They have the ability to fly, and therefore can attack from any height.
The Misfits alliance backs up, watching in horror as one of them swoops down.
The bird-mutt attacks Ivory with it’s incredibly sharp beak. It’s as if someone just sliced up Ivory’s chest.
Ivory screams in pain as more mutts fly down to attack him.
The group runs for cover inside a building as they hear a cannon in the background.
BOOM!
Carol: Looks like we’re staying here for the night!
The group is unaware that Franzi and Citrine are in the same building, on a higher floor.
That night, the fallen tributes are projected in the sky.

We are down to just 7... and things are only going to get bloodier from here.
Will anyone else fall victim to the bird mutts?
Will any of the tributes be able to overpower Beck in her skyscraper?
And will the group recognize Franzi and Cintrine’s presence before they recognize theirs?
