Welcome to Dragvivor, a new brantsteele Survivor game, played out with contestants from RuPaul's Drag Race.
I've created a brantsteele season (which will be linked at the end of the season), and will post one episode per day on blogs because I have nothing better to do with my life. If I have fun with this, I'll do more.
For Season 1, I've divided the girls into two tribes of ten - Fishy Females vs. Campy Clowns. In choosing this cast, I did follow some specific rules:
1. No winners.
2. No Miss Congeniality/Fan Favorite winners.
3. All Stars is considered a separate series, so those seasons do not count in anyway.
4. One queen per season, maximum.
The queens were divided based on what attribute they are strongest in. Basically Fishy Females are queens who look very fishy, and were strongest at serving runway looks. Campy Clowns are queens who were very funny, and a large portion of their drag persona involved comedy of some kind (this includes clever shade). This does not mean a funny queen didn't serve fantastic glamour runways (i.e. Jujubee, Willam), or that a fishy queen wasn't ever funny (i.e. Asia, Tatianna). No queens from Season 1 were included in the Fishy Female tribe because I have not season Season 1, so I have not seen any runway looks from that season. Instead, they got a Season 11 queen who is clearly fishy, while no queens from Season 11 were included in the Campy Clowns tribe because Tammie Brown exists, and we don't know how funny any of them truly are.
