Since semi-final 1 of Eurovision is in 27 days, I decided to rank all of this year's songs based on how much I like them.

BELGIUM
Hm this is a tricky song for me. I feel like I should like it a lot more than I actually do, but the entire song just falls flat for me. The problem clearly lies with the very underwhelming chorus. The verses are actually the shining point of the song, with a nice beat and a seemingly nice build up. What does it build up to though? Nothing. The chorus feels void of emotion and goes absolutely nowhere. The worst part is the bridge when you think the song is FINALLY going somewhere but then loops back to the same empty chorus as before. Now, don't get me wrong, this is still a very high quality song and I do enjoy listening to it on occasion. I just think it has so much untapped potential throughout the song that just causes it to appear flat and boring. I still think this has a high probability of qualifying since it's in semi 1, but if the staging is as horrendous as Sennek's, I could also see this flopping.
