Since semi-final 1 of Eurovision is in 30 days, I decided to rank all of this year's songs based on how much I like them.

ISRAEL
This song isn't bad by any means, but I really expected more from Israel. You're the host nation and can send anything you want, and decide to send a basic ballad in ENGLISH?? You could've at least sent a song in Hebrew... besides the point. I do enjoy the buildup throughout the song, and Kobi is a great singer and sells this song really well. There's just not really anything in this song I haven't heard before, which is why it's placed so low at the moment. I'm sure this will be beautiful on the night of the final, but for now, it's just really meh for me, and a song I often forget in the sea of stronger ballads and bops.

LATVIA
Very similarly to Israel, this song is just very meh and forgettable to me. Latvia definitely made the best choice in selecting this song, but now that all of the songs are released, I just forget it exists. I love the vibe of this song and how relaxing and calming it is. The chorus is also very catchy, as that's basically all the singer is repeating throughout the entire song. I really enjoyed how the live performance was shot too. But still, this isn't enough to stand out in this sea of songs (and especially in its semi). Hence, just like Israel, while I do enjoy this song, it's just really forgettable and doesn't do anything to stand out.
