Since semi-final 1 of Eurovision is in 33 days, I decided to rank all of this year's songs based on how much I like them.

MOLDOVA
This is basically going to be the same critique of all of the songs before this. The year is 2019, not 1990, and the fact that countries still feel the need to send dated ballads makes no sense to me. I'm even more shocked that a country like Moldova decided to send something as bland as this considering their past two entries have been BOPS. This is higher than the others before it because while it is extremely dated, Anna sells it pretty well. Still won't be enough to save it though, and this will definitely stay (ba dum tss) in the semis this year. Really hope Moldova will go back to sending crazy entries again after this one flops.

SAN MARINO
Serhat is a Eurovision gem. This song is obviously not meant to be taken seriously, which I think really helps it in this scenario. When you have a 'vocalist' like Serhat, this is the exact song you need to submit. I love how he's keeping with the disco theme as well. This is just a feel-good song that's very catchy and accomplishes its goal of being memorable and iconic. I still am not the biggest fan of his voice, but it's overlookable in this song. I'm not as convinced as others that this will qualify, especially since there's no way the jury is going to rank this high. However, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing this squeak through to the final as San Marino deserves it.
