LITHUANIA
I LOVE a good ballad, and this one is definitely one of my favorites this year!! Initially, I didn't really get the song and was in support of Paula. However, after seeing this performed live I instantly fell in love. Ieva's voice just sounds so soothing and beautiful, and I love her timbre that I can't really explain but I just love. The song is beautifully composed as well, and I love how it stays at the same pace the entire song and just stays true to itself. I also love how you can tell how much Ieva really connects to this song, and really pours her heart into every live performance she does, which is evident from her little gasp that I love before the second chorus. The lyrics are also fantastic and I just love them all, AND PLEASE ATTACK ME FOR THIS I CAN'T BELIEVE IM ABOUT TO SAY THIS, but I LOVE the last two lines of the song so much and they may be my favorite Eurovision lyrics this year and... I really want her to sing that part in English instead of Lithuanian *prepares for hate*
ANYWAYS, I am obsessed with this song and I REALLY want Lithuania to qualify/do good this year because I absolutely love this song and it deserves to do great
