Uh oh here we go, probably my most *unpopular* opinion out there :)) However I would like to start by stating that the gap between Malta and Israel is HUGE because these are the 25 songs that I actively listen to and enjoy. With that...
Yes, I think the big favorite is a bit overrated. The first time I heard the song I enjoyed it and thought that I would grow to love it. However, over time the song just began annoying me more and more. I don't know why, but the chorus just wasn't appealing to me anymore, and still really isn't. It just doesn't do anything for me, and I don't think it's anything special at all. Yes, her voice is great and the song is extremely catchy hence why it's this high in my rankings. However, it just doesn't suit me anymore and gets on my nerves more times than I jam out to it while listening to it. In terms of how this will do, I honestly don't see this winning. I think this song appeals to only certain people, and I feel like the more casual viewer may not get it as much as a Eurovision fan. I had my brother and my friend listen to the song and they both didn't like it at all so... I mean anything can happen with the live performance, but I just can't see this winning

Happy someone else feels the same way about the song as me!! I feel like everyone places this song on a pedestal as if it's the best song to ever be released when it's just annoying
for me Toy is still in my top 10 but I do agree in that I think it's overrated lol. the novelty has warn off.
