Yesss another round. I'm speeding this up because of the three week hiatus.

We have seven albums left but only six can become finalists. Today I'll listen to one more song from each album, and determine the eliminated album based on the average rankings from last round and this one. Since last round saw two songs per album, this means three songs will determine the records' fate.
_______________________________________________________________

Let's go revealing this round's competing songs!
(All of the chosen songs were randomized and won't be repeated again in the game unless an album has used all its songs)

πŸ’Ώ 01) AMAARAE - Aquamarie Luvs Ecstasy / FOUNTAIN BABY
β—Ό Ohh this song gave afrobeats vibes and generally something I could hear throughout the entire record. There have been other songs that were able to stand out more than this one and the length for this track might have been excessive.

πŸ’Ώ 02) MELANIE MARTINEZ - PLUTO / PORTALS
β—Ό Nice chords and lyrics. The final part was really really nice. Where were those nice tracks when this album got eliminated? "PORTALS" has been very hit or miss, but for this round it was a hit for sure.

πŸ’Ώ 03) CHAPPELL ROAN - Guilty Pleasure / THE RISE AND FALL OF A MIDWEST PRINCESS
β—Ό To be the final track of the record this started off going anywhere which confused me, then changed unexpectedly but still not going anywhere, this bored me to be honest. There was nothing that convinced me was worthy listening again. Ohhh well

πŸ’Ώ 04) HILARY DUFF - Between You And Me / DIGNITY
β—Ό Wait why was this kind of fun to listen to? Those xylophone-like notes were catchy and this actually has quite some different elements compared to other songs from the record in a positive way. I'm gagged LMFAO this was nice

πŸ’Ώ 05) KESHA - Godzilla / RAINBOW
β—Ό LOL this was a short silly little song. I definitely didn't expect this to be the "Godzilla" song I had read while listening to other songs in the album, but I liked it. Feels like a children's song for some reason. Some "Cartoon Network" kinda thing, I liked it, it was fun and simple. The lyrics are fun too.

πŸ’Ώ 06) FLORENCE + THE MACHINE - All This And Heaven Too / CEREMONIALS
β—Ό Many songs in this record managed to include the same elements in terms of vocal range but the song structure always differs in each track and for this one I was fascinated. This song felt like bouncing from one cloud to another in a big dress reaching for sunlight. So yeah I really like this.

πŸ’Ώ 07) SUDAN ARCHIVES - Freakalizer / NATURAL BROWN PROM QUEEN
β—Ό Fun and groovy, I was moving all over the house. Liked the soft vocals in this, a more danceable track after some strong bops that gave more of a "car trip" vibe.

⭐ ROUND 9 FINAL AVERAGES RANKING ⭐
1st | MELANIE MARTINEZ PORTALS 2.3
2nd | FLORENCE + THE MACHINE Ceremonials 2.7
3rd | AMAARAE Fountain Baby 3.7
4th | CHAPPELL ROAN The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess 4.0
5th= | KESHA Rainbow 5.0
5th= | SUDAN ARCHIVES Natural Brown Prom Queen 5.0
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7th | HILARY DUFF Dignity 5.3

This means Hilary Duff's "Dignity" is our sixth eliminated album. I'm so angry, I have really liked this album from start to end and it would have been a perfect finalist as well. Sadly the results have never reached high placements and that was fatal in those last rounds. It was a very close battle between Hilary and Sudan Archives and Kesha, and their close placements today made the "round 8" songs determine everyone's fate.

This album felt really cute and nostalgic, one of the only from this season I'd actually buy a CD of to feel the memories from the past. She slayed since the first round and although I'll never know if she'd slay in the last round too, I'll assume she would've. Thanks to Delete2544 for signing up!

WE HAVE OUR FINALISTS! Congrats to MJFJUNE, FromAWindow| Currents, chad123, Fritzyyyyy, rockstarr and Snowglobe.

The final will be divided in three different rounds that will work like this:
Round 1: 6 albums - 3 songs each - 2 eliminations
Round 2: 4 albums - 5 songs each - 2 eliminations
Round 3: 2 albums - 10 songs each - Winner reveal

That's all for now see ya next round, maybe tomorrow, maybe in 100 years. Who knows?

THIS IS BACK!! Sorry I forgot about it for almost a month but it's time to declare a winner (I mean not in this round but like, soon)

Just like last round, there are the rules for today:
- We'll have a rejoin round between eliminated albums
- We'll listen to 2 new songs of each safe album (including the rejoined album)
- We'll eliminate an album based on the average rankings of the 2 songs (there will be 1 song per round)

So also today we'll have two groups of songs instead of one that will be rated separately. And previous rounds' results won't be considered.

Let's begin with the rejoin round, since it's not the official round of the game, I won't write any opinions and just the song titles. It'll create some more suspense.

- REJOIN ROUND -
πŸ’Ώ 01) LAUREN SPENCER SMITH - Love Is An Overstatement / MIRROR
πŸ’Ώ 02) ILLENIUM - Pray (with Kameron) / ASCEND
πŸ’Ώ 03) CHUNG HA - Masquerade / QUERENCIA
πŸ’Ώ 04) MELANIE MARTINEZ - MILK OF THE SIREN / PORTALS
πŸ’Ώ 05) KALI UCHIS - Deserve Me (with Summer Walker) / RED MOON IN VENUS

Once again two albums surprised me more than the others, but in the end,

PORTALS! Congrats to Melanie Martinez and chad123 for coming back into the game!

This means all the other albums are gone forever, thanks to hellocat, icyz, coolKat and 3pi14159 for signing up.

Now time for the actual round. It'll be divided in two parts, one song each part for all albums.
_______________________________________________________________

Let's go revealing this round's competing songs!
(All of the chosen songs were randomized and won't be repeated again in the game unless an album has used all its songs)

- FIRST TRACKS -

πŸ’Ώ 01) AMAARAE - Princess Going Digital / FOUNTAIN BABY
β—Ό Lovely track! Never got disappointed from her lucky me. There has been better but it's good to have a safe track for now.

πŸ’Ώ 02) KESHA - Hunt You Down / RAINBOW
β—Ό I swear this album just does whatever it wants lmfao, sometimes it's some radio pop, sometimes it's country and other times it's a heavy ballad, but I enjoy it. This was cute! Not masterpiece total slay cute, you get it.

πŸ’Ώ 03) MELANIE MARTINEZ - TUNNEL VISION / PORTALS
β—Ό Ohh this was...long, but it was okay it was fine, I'm happy this is back in the game, this was worthy listening, had very lovely parts, some others...well

πŸ’Ώ 04) SUDAN ARCHIVES - Yellow Brick Road / NATURAL BROWN PROM QUEEN
β—Ό This started off strong and then just went nowhere, glad the strong was rly strong though, I guess...

πŸ’Ώ 05) CARLY RAE JEPSEN - Black Heart / EMOTION
β—Ό This felt like something different from all the rest, a more relaxed song, that didn't exaggerate or try too hard, it didn't even sound that bad I guess. I'm not that impressed though.

πŸ’Ώ 06) HILARY DUFF - I Wish / DIGNITY
β—Ό All tracks on this album just give me the same feelings but like it's not necessarily a bad thing, she slayed in this record and maybe this song is more forgettable than others but she knows how to do a classy pop album.

πŸ’Ώ 07) FLORENCE + THE MACHINE - Spectrum / CEREMONIALS
β—Ό This just got better and better!! I loved the harps in these, she sounds stunning in every song. I'm so optimistic about the next track too.

πŸ’Ώ 08) CHAPPELL ROAN - Pink Pony Club / THE RISE AND FALL OF A MIDWEST PRINCESS
β—Ό I had heard this before, this is so good, lyrics caught my attention, a really fun track, I yassed. I wanna go at the pink pony club now.

- SECOND TRACKS -

πŸ’Ώ 01) CHAPPELL ROAN - My Kink Is Karma / THE RISE AND FALL OF A MIDWEST PRINCESS
β—Ό Other track got me more hyped and yassified but this was fun too, the "my kink is watching you" parts were gorg. I really enjoyed this too.

πŸ’Ώ 02) FLORENCE + THE MACHINE - What The Water Gave Me / CEREMONIALS
β—Ό A long LONG instrumental part but not a bad work after all. Harp too but doesn't really convince me this time.

πŸ’Ώ 03) HILARY DUFF - No Work, All Play / DIGNITY
β—Ό Nice one yet again! The "you gotta know yourself to be yourself, it's a struggle everyday" hit hard. Queen is so relatable and iconic. She needs more hooks like this that actually work though.

πŸ’Ώ 04) CARLY RAE JEPSEN - Boy Problems / EMOTION
β—Ό Ehh this was catchier than the previous song! Might be a little catchier than some songs this round???? No... I gotta hear a recap later to be sure. This wasn't bad, this hasn't left a bad mark, but...

πŸ’Ώ 05) SUDAN ARCHIVES - OMG BRITT / NATURAL BROWN PROM QUEEN
β—Ό Damn this was powerful. Really liked it, went straight to the point and kept this cute melody and beat all along.

πŸ’Ώ 06) MELANIE MARTINEZ - THE CONTORTIONIST / PORTALS
β—Ό Yeah this confirms I made a good choice bringing this back. I lived this round with her songs. That chorus was impressive, I had good expectations for this song and it lived up to them.

πŸ’Ώ 07) KESHA - Finding You / RAINBOW
β—Ό This kept a bit the country vibe from the last song but also gave some pop vibes I've slightly enjoyed. This wasn't the powerful Kesha I've heard before but it's fine.

πŸ’Ώ 08) AMAARAE - Come Home To God / FOUNTAIN BABY
β—Ό Ooo this both closing the round and the album and it truly feels like a closer. She's ending this album in style and wow those screams in contrast to the choir. Yeah this was truly stunning.

Next round, we go back to one song per album, but today's results will be taken in consideration for the elimination.

Emotion! Congrats to Carly Rae Jepsen and Vixens for coming back into the game!

Now time for the actual round. It'll be divided in two parts, one song each part for all albums.
_______________________________________________________________

Let's go revealing this round's competing songs!
(All of the chosen songs were randomized and won't be repeated again in the game unless an album has used all its songs)

- FIRST TRACKS -

πŸ’Ώ 01) HILARY DUFF - Stranger / DIGNITY
β—Ό Yeah after all those rounds I can certainly confirm this girl could make good bops back then. I've been living most of the time with those tracks and had fun with this one too. A very strong opening track too, could definitely make people want to listen more.

πŸ’Ώ 02) SUDAN ARCHIVES - Homesick (Gorgeous & Arrogant) / NATURAL BROWN PROM QUEEN
β—Ό The complexity in these songs is hard to find anywhere else. Usually the elements used in the tracks are not the most appealing but this song kept me haunted and it was quite nice.

πŸ’Ώ 03) CHAPPELL ROAN - Naked In Manhattan / THE RISE AND FALL OF A MIDWEST PRINCESS
β—Ό Cute little bop. There were weaker songs but even better bops so this fall into the mid section of the record at this point of the game. It was a fun experience I moved a centimeter, but I'm just saying Chappell will need to rely on next song too, just to be sure.

πŸ’Ώ 04) AMAARAE - Wasted Eyes / FOUNTAIN BABY
β—Ό Not bad not bad. Loved this calm banger, yeah it has some powerful elements but it's not even that fast-paced, and the trumpets are so great. Every song is its own kind of thing and I rly love it for her.

πŸ’Ώ 05) KESHA - Bastards / RAINBOW
β—Ό Let me just say this was not what I expected AT ALL when I first picked the song. I expected some rock banger that would physically destroy me, but it wasn't bad. The ending was really cute and sweet. But Kesha pls you don't name a song "Bastards" and then not expect people to want a bop instead.

πŸ’Ώ 06) FLORENCE + THE MACHINE - Remain Nameless / CEREMONIALS
β—Ό I'll appreciate how different this sounded from other songs of the record, but at the same time this track just felt more confusing and I didn't get a lot of the energy and ultimately left me quite disappointed. Probably the worst song off the record so far. But it's okay, this happens with every record, but I really hope the next song is good or this album risks to go home!

πŸ’Ώ 07) CARLY RAE JEPSEN - I Really Like You / EMOTION
β—Ό OMGGGGGGGGG I LIKED THIS!!! Carly's back into the game with a BANGER!!! I'm so happy I made the right choice with the rejoin I knew she had something good left behind and THIS SOUNDS AMAZING. Yay.

πŸ’Ώ 08) KALI UCHIS - All Mine / RED MOON IN VENUS
β—Ό Had some nice elements and probably it's between the best songs of the record, but like, considering how I bashed many other songs, it's not really hard to be among the best. And I'm not even sure if this song was among the best of this round.

- SECOND TRACKS - (The running order is reversed from the past round)

πŸ’Ώ 01) KALI UCHIS - Blue / RED MOON IN VENUS
β—Ό Ehh this was better than the other song, so one of the best of the record so far YASSSS! Will it stand out compared to what I'm about to hear next? Will Kali escape from elimination today? This is that type of song I'm unsure of the result of until I've heard everything else. We'll see.

πŸ’Ώ 02) CARLY RAE JEPSEN - Favourite Colour / EMOTION
β—Ό Aww another good song. Maybe not as good as the other one I've heard today but I've been really happy to prove this album deserved to continue the game and now it's giving a better performance than some albums who stayed in the game since the beginning until today. Happy about this. (Edit: After listening to the rest of the songs this round this kinda got devoured but it's okay, it is)

πŸ’Ώ 03) FLORENCE + THE MACHINE - Strangeness And Charm / CEREMONIALS
β—Ό Okay this is the Florence I remembered! Gorgeous and intricate without going too far. Loved the harp in this so much!!!! I'm glad the previous song was just a stumble and I actually breathed a sigh of relief. To more bangers!

πŸ’Ώ 04) KESHA - Boots / RAINBOW
β—Ό Okay some country-like (???) kind of thing? I loved it!! We had slow ballads, rock covers, country, and some 2010s pop. Kesha's been giving everything and I'm sure we have something completely different left in those remaining tracks left.

πŸ’Ώ 05) AMAARAE - Counterfeit / FOUNTAIN BABY
β—Ό FJHFJKSDHFKSFJSFHJK well I don't know what else to say anymore. BANGER BANGER BANGER BANGER BANGER BANGER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

πŸ’Ώ 06) CHAPPELL ROAN - Picture You / THE RISE AND FALL OF A MIDWEST PRINCESS
β—Ό Awww a old-style ballad, this brings me back to the first rounds when I thought this album was just made of ballads. Not the most extraordinary song of the album but it was really nice. When it started I was like "oooooooh this bout to be a masterpiece" and maybe it wasn't exactly a masterpiece but we're getting close to that.

πŸ’Ώ 07) SUDAN ARCHIVES - Ciara / NATURAL BROWN PROM QUEEN
β—Ό Alright this might've been the best round for her so far. Maybe the 2nd part wasn't really for me, but it didn't ruin the song experience that much so I'm glad! This has been some sort of underdog record until now but today had its chance to shine brighter than others.

πŸ’Ώ 08) HILARY DUFF - With Love / DIGNITY
β—Ό Hilary both opened and closed tonight's show, and I couldn't be happier! I've noticed this is one of the most famous songs of the record and I absolutely get it! I feel like the queen of the universe listening to these tracks from "Dignity" I'm so happy people were bopping and slaying to those songs when this was released and I was only one year old.

8th | KALI UCHIS Red Moon In Venus 7.5

This means Kali Uchis' "Red Moon In Venus" is our new fifth eliminated album. We must admit this album really has struggled to stay until now, and this elimination didn't even have a close result. But the vibes were beautiful, the vocals too. I would definitely listen to these songs again in a different context, maybe this ain't the most competitive record out there, but it can absolutely be appreciated by just listening to it and chill. Of course it could get back into the game next round with a good rejoin song, who knows? This game is kinda unpredictable.

Next round, we still hear TWO songs from each album and our final rejoin.

That's all for now see ya next round, maybe tomorrow, maybe in 100 years. Who knows?

Welcome to yet another round! This is the last round of the first phase of the game, since from next round things will change a little bit and we'll have more songs to listen to.

But for now, again, one song per album and once again an album leaves the game, based on the average rankings of today's round and the previous round too! (so round 5 in this case)
_______________________________________________________________

Let's go revealing this round's competing songs!
(All of the chosen songs were randomized and won't be repeated again in the game unless an album has used all its songs)

πŸ’Ώ 01) AMAARAE - Water From Wine / FOUNTAIN BABY
β—Ό Amaarae opening the round once again. Cute vibes, similar to other songs from this record. Not the most stunning entry I've heard from the album but a respectable track overall. Nothing much to say I'm always impressed by the good sounds.

πŸ’Ώ 02) KALI UCHIS - Hasta Cuando / RED MOON IN VENUS
β—Ό I liked her singing in Spanish for once in this record, she sounds so much better ngl, the track was really short and didn't really get into it. Would've loved to see some more especially after the good placement in previous round.

πŸ’Ώ 03) FLORENCE + THE MACHINE - Breath Of Life / CEREMONIALS
β—Ό For some reason this is in the standard version but not in the deluxe version. This feels more powerful than the other tracks but it's also a different feeling of powerful. Some other songs in this album are powerful in their lyrics, this felt more powerful in the energy it brought into me, felt like a march during a war or smth. It was really strong and nice.

πŸ’Ώ 04) CHAPPELL ROAN - After Midnight / THE RISE AND FALL OF A MIDWEST PRINCESS
β—Ό Cute song but it doesn't feel like it belongs to the album as much as the rest. I've particularly enjoyed this record but this song was a bit more boring. Not the worst track overall but could've been better I guess. Nothing much to worry about after last round's win, right? Or not...

πŸ’Ώ 05) MELANIE MARTINEZ - WOMB / PORTALS
β—Ό Ehh kinda nice and hopefully it'll be enough for safety this round. Not the most energetic song but usually this album didn't need much energy to do well but this lacks in something I can't understand. Love the guitar parts. Not bad.

πŸ’Ώ 06) SUDAN ARCHIVES - TDLY (Homegrown Land) / NATURAL BROWN PROM QUEEN
β—Ό Ohhh I'm living a bit with this production, since there was definitely worse. Not the most inspiring or extraordinary track of the record but definitely not one of the worst tracks today. I was vibing a little if I must be honest.

πŸ’Ώ 07) KESHA - Learn To Let Go / RAINBOW
β—Ό YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS this is what I call POP PERFECTION. This is what I excepted Carly Rae's record to sound like LMFAO. I am so happy I liked this more than I expected I was bopping I was dancing I was walking all around my room it was WILD. I could probably find it hard to relate to those songs on a spiritual level but the melodies are great, her vocals are clean and she genuinely sounds happy and recovered. Gave me some old Katy Perry vibes, which is good don't worry.

πŸ’Ώ 08) HILARY DUFF - Burned / DIGNITY
β—Ό SHE ATE? The beat is insanely good with how simple it is as well. I think it's one of the best songs of the record so far, but it'll be hard to top the title track that was gorgeous. This sounded so cunty I was all for it and it could actually be more easy to remember compared to some other songs today!

This means Melanie Martinez's "PORTALS" is our fifth eliminated album. I really didn't expect this outcome given the good start this album had, but some unlucky rounds may happen. We'll see what rejoin rounds can bring so I can either confirm or not confirm this deserved to leave the game this soon.

Welcome to yet another round! We're halfway through the rounds, and it's getting funnier, that's for sure. I kinda feel sorry eliminating albums now though.

Once again, one song per album and once again an album leaves the game, based on the average rankings of today's round and the previous round too! (so round 4 in this case)
_______________________________________________________________

Let's go revealing this round's competing songs!
(All of the chosen songs were randomized and won't be repeated again in the game unless an album has used all its songs)

πŸ’Ώ 01) AMAARAE - Disguise / FOUNTAIN BABY
β—Ό The way she plays with her voice still having beautiful vocals is just incredible, I don't know if this is her first project or if she had previous records or EPs but I just know she has an insane talent and I better see her name on bigger stages, with more listeners and more fame because THE QUALITY IS INSANE. This was so fucking good I'm speechless. SHE KEEPS ON SERVING LIKE IT'S NOTHING HARD.

πŸ’Ώ 02) SUDAN ARCHIVES - Copycat (Broken Notions) / NATURAL BROWN PROM QUEEN
β—Ό I love how more and more experimental this record is becoming even if I'm listening to it in this random order but it's so good. This wasn't my favorite of the ones I've heard and I fear this could get a low placement tonight I didn't really vibe with it but its sound is so particular and that makes me curious about what's next. I know for sure I could never guess it.

πŸ’Ώ 03) KALI UCHIS - I Wish You Roses / RED MOON IN VENUS
β—Ό Alright this might've been my fave so far off the record. Lovely lyrics and idk the melody sounded better than usual for some reason. It was really cute and fun. R&B is clearly her thing and it's also clearly not my fave but I can make myself appreciate it more when it's done so well. So yassss. I wish you safety I guess.

πŸ’Ώ 04) CHAPPELL ROAN - Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl / THE RISE AND FALL OF A MIDWEST PRINCESS
β—Ό She really loves long titles for stuff. I mean she's talented af. She's been able to slay with ballads and now with those bangers that take this album on a completely different direction. The chorus is instantaneously stuck in your brain after you listen to it. I've been vibing a lot with this record and this is yet another amazing piece.

πŸ’Ώ 05) HILARY DUFF - Danger / DIGNITY
β—Ό The fact this song has the same main chord as the previous song I just heard (by Chappell Roan), and the fact this is also a huge banger makes this sound like the Side B of the song LMFAOOOOO this sounds so good!! A bit monotone but it's alright. Cute sound and that's what I've been vibing with for a while. I'll be surprised when she drops a random gorgeous ballad lolll

πŸ’Ώ 06) MELANIE MARTINEZ - FAERIE SOIRΓ‰E / PORTALS
β—Ό Eek, could this be Melanie's first miss in the album? I just didn't vibe with this groovy beat at all, the division of the song is not even as appealing as other examples I've heard before. I like her style and how she's trying to express herself but it was difficult to get through this track. A bit sad since I've been living for these songs until today. I'm still excited for what comes next.

πŸ’Ώ 07) CARLY RAE JEPSEN - When I Needed You / EMOTION
β—Ό Ehhh I won't lie this sounded cute and had some great parts. Still I don't know how anyone could listen to this and say this is a majestic record. I still don't get the appeal and we're getting through more songs now and I'm feeling suspicious. This is some good pop but where is the "pop perfection" people have been talking about in posts and social media? I NEED MORE MISS JEPSEN. MORE!!!!!!!!!

πŸ’Ώ 08) FLORENCE + THE MACHINE - Never Let Me Go / CEREMONIALS
β—Ό Really cute, Florence really said "let me show my vocal skills to the maximum in every single track at every single second" and I'm good with it. This song doesn't come nearly close to what "Shake It Out" was, but it's fine! Probably the most generic-sounding song of the record so far but also not the worst so it's a good thing. Not disappointed :)

πŸ’Ώ 09) KESHA - Old Flames (Can't Hold A Candle To You) (with Dolly Parton) / RAINBOW
β—Ό LORD THESE VOCALS. What a gorgeous duo!!! This song sounds like it could've been used for proms or any party during a slow dance back in the 80s or smth. Wait let me check if this is a cover because it really sounds like one. IT IS A COVER LMFAOOOOOOO by Dolly HERSELF and it's from 1980 so I got the decade right too. Well this is a beautiful cover LMFAO I really loved it. This record has been going anywhere and I'm good with it.

9th | CARLY RAE JEPSEN Emotion 8.0

This means Carly Rae Jepsen's "Emotion" is our fourth eliminated album. I really tried, I really REALLY tried to give this album the chance to prove to me that it deserves all the praise it received. People have been massively confirming this is her best record by far, so I can't even imagine what the rest sounds like.

BUT. I know there's some gold in this pot and rejoin rounds will be the chance to discover it. I really don't wanna judge this record after listening to 29.4% of it, but it's hard, it is.

That's all for now see ya next round, maybe tomorrow, maybe in 100 years. Who knows?

Welcome to yet another round! We're absolutely not close to the end, but we might find some new bops to listen to today.

Once again, one song per album and once again an album leaves the game, based on the average rankings of today's round and the previous round too! (so round 3 in this case)
_______________________________________________________________

Let's go revealing this round's competing songs!
(All of the chosen songs were randomized and won't be repeated again in the game unless an album has used all its songs)

πŸ’Ώ 01) CHUNG HA - Luce Sicut Stellae / QUERENCIA
β—Ό Particular vibes. As I stated in previous rounds I must praise this album for how diverse it sounds so far. Probably a weaker track than the others, and looking at last round's placement this is not a good sign. Hopefully this can stand out tonight but it'll be unlikely. Not that bad, but as we go on with the game we need stronger tracks. A pleasant experience nevertheless.

πŸ’Ώ 02) KALI UCHIS - Fantasy (with Don Toliver) / RED MOON IN VENUS
β—Ό Yeah I still think most of these tracks sound really similar. Only "Moonlight" from last round stood out a bit more. This was okay and all, Don's featuring was nice but this record is just not being that great at making an impact on me. I don't know why, like these are bangers, but at the same time I'm not that gagged.

πŸ’Ώ 03) FLORENCE + THE MACHINE - Shake It Out / CEREMONIALS
β—Ό Huge masterpiece that I had listened before. This brings something I had been waiting for since the first round. That energy, that surprise, that power united with gorgeous vocals. Pure perfection. And to think this is almost five minutes long LMFAOOOO this ain't long enough wowowowow.

πŸ’Ώ 04) HILARY DUFF - Never Stop / DIGNITY
β—Ό Oof this was the record's weakest track so far I fear. Nothing terrible but I missed the sass and the catchy elements from the previous songs, especially the title track that made top three last time. But yeah vocals are cute in this and could've gone totally worse but so far I heard way better previously.

πŸ’Ώ 05) CHAPPELL ROAN - Femininomenon / THE RISE AND FALL OF A MIDWEST PRINCESS
β—Ό Alright we finally got a BAWPPPPP after three ballads. This was funny, a bit cringe, but definitely energetic and I had a good time in the end so who cares. A different sound is just what I needed from her, especially after the disappointment of last round. This was amazing in comparison and I'm glad.

πŸ’Ώ 06) MELANIE MARTINEZ - LEECHES / PORTALS
β—Ό Yeah I really enjoyed this too. Lyrically one of her best so far and nothing like the rest of the songs I've heard. This round I'll admit that I had heard many many terrible opinions on the album but so far I can't understand those. All songs so far had their own special characteristics and qualities that make this record sound stellar at the moment. I can never know what to expect from "PORTALS" after some rounds and that's something to be happy for.

πŸ’Ώ 07) AMMARAE - Co-Star / FOUNTAIN BABY
β—Ό Alright I'm impressed by the aesthetics of this album so far, just wanted to say that those music videos are stunning. I've been enjoying the record, and although this was the weakest song of the bunch (based on those four rounds), the quality has been on another level and I've been praising that since the beginning. Lovely but the least lovely for now, but still lovely! Nothing else to say for tonight.

πŸ’Ώ 08) CARLY RAE JEPSEN - Warm Blood / EMOTION
β—Ό This would definitely be a lot of people's vibe and bop to start the day with or something, but not for me. This was a huge stumble after the improvements from previous rounds. This felt never ending sadly. I really don't know what to say.

πŸ’Ώ 09) SUDAN ARCHIVES - ChevyS10 / NATURAL BROWN PROM QUEEN
β—Ό Six minutes...wow, okay. It didn't really feel like 6 minutes, okay maybe it did but like it wasn't bad? This was really, y'know, something to put in the car and drive peacefully with and I can usually go with it but idk. She sounds great and all but is that it? Not a "meh" track because it's rly hard to write a 6 minute song and make it sound as good as that so it's probably just a genre bias. This was okay.

πŸ’Ώ 10) KESHA - Boogie Feet (with Eagles Of Death Metal) / RAINBOW
β—Ό So you're telling me that THIS and "PRAYING" are part of the SAME album?! Well how could we get more diverse than that? I have no idea. When I turned this song on I was immediately shocked like LMFAOOOO I was coming from a legendary ballad of last round and now I wanna boogie screaming or smth? She's been nailing it 100% so far. I need to recover from this.

This means Chung Ha's "Querencia" is our third eliminated album. Great diversity in the tracks, I just wished they were a little bit more particular and surprising. She has a great aesthetic and good vocals too so it was a nice little discovery.

There will be a chance to rejoin so this ain't the last time I hear this record, I can't just judge it based on four songs amirite? (yeah I said this twice)
