friend whom I have not spoken at all since 2010. (We were in very good terms, just lost touch when I moved out of the country for a bit but sure we were besties before that)
I was worried what the hell happened and called him back quick.
Him : Hey do you have plans on Friday?
Me: Nothing solid, just movies and dinner with sis.
Him: Are you able to come to Waters Edge? We are having a small gathering. (Btw thats a very fancy hotel)
Me: Um maybe, what's the occasion?
Him: Oh I'm getting married. Yeah sorry man I couldn't deliver the wedding card which I had with me for the last 3 weeks. Oh and bring your sister too. Oh and the homecoming is next Wednesday too.
SMH. Now I need to find something to wear not for one but two fancy occasions in less than a week and buy him a fucking wedding gift too.
I wish my friends weren't as last minute as me.
