Minie brazilians (as a 3rd world country) culturally look up and are indeed very welcoming to foreigners, as you can probably know about the gringos being welcome in carnival (that's kind of stereotypical but the only example i could find at 11 am), and we most likely, as a whole culture, never speak down on any foreigners - mostly because we cherish and want to achieve the lifestyle that the americans, british, australians, canadians, irish, welsh, and many more have.
this is not politics or even remotely xenophobia when we are not the oppressor country, we are the ones who were stolen (from portugal, not you) and marginalized. you can't call reverse xenophobia, that's like saying a white person can suffer from racism from the words of a black person... literally no sense? lmao
y'all are just sensitive and getting to personal business about it - which is fine
i said i didnt read all of that, i didnt say i didnt read it at all. i read the first line and saw you talking about being colonized. and the little i said was enough for me to counter your statement. how are you trying to justify xenophia when its brought up by a person who has had the same effects as you and when they are the biggest minority on this website xD hunty
and what are you talking about involving anyone. lmao you fellow brazilian made a very xenophobic remark and tbh most of them are hypocritical. and ive brought this up before too. https://tengaged.com/blog/Minie/9434475/they-really-be-talking-xenophobia
and do not even try to come at me lmao. ive had many brazilian friends and still the person i speak to the most on this website is brazilian and the other is spanish. you can't shake my statements. you going off track.
I really did not know you are sri lankan and for that I apologize and believe xenophobia hits you as hard as me. That's not what I was trying to say though.
About involving anyone - you specifically tagged me and said i should stand by a side, which i'm not doing. Fabiano's blog STILL isn't xenophobia, bc it's directed at native english speakers. It is, however, very unpleasant and uncalled for.
But honestly like, you being sri lankan does not grants you immunity on the xenophobia, as you literally just said "you fellow brazilians" grouping us all in one box, thinking we're all the same (??) Still not sure what your intentions are by trying to force me to pick a side? It's not happening sis. IDC who your friends are, I have several native english speakers friends as well, for YEARS. What the fuck is your point?
again how is it xenophobia when it's reverse?
you can't be xenophobic towards 'gringos' just like fabiano said
it's called OPPRESSION for one reason and i'm pretty much sure you can't oppress the oppressor
how is one native english speaker gonna feel attacked by that statement? if he does i'm sorry but that's bullshit
