#6 Cha Cha Real Smooth
I feel as if I will receive hate for ranking this as low as I did, that does not mean I do not appreciate this part of the dance though. Its a nice breathe of fresh air with a jazzy change in tempo of this song. This is where the show offs usually try to outshine people and the awkward people just shuffle back and forth. But you know you feel fly as heck when you are dancing to this part
#5 How Low Can You Go?
It is now time for "Can you bring it to the top?"'s partner. This half of the duo is better for obvious reasons, everyone loves getting low on the dance floor. You can either go down slow and smooth like a stripper or like you going down on some bomb dick. The only downside is that it is always a struggle to get up if you are heavy and have arthritis. When you buy this song an iTunes, it comes with a warning that pregnant women and the elderly should not attempt this part
#4 FREEZE! Everybody Clap Your Hands
Clearly the climax of the song, this is easily the most iconic part of the song. This part of the song really makes the people come together like their hands. I feel like we could resolve all of the conflicts in our world if we all just FREEZED and clapped our hands together. I hope anthropologists and psychologists do an analysis on this part of the song as I feel it would be revolutionary research. However there were 3 other parts that are just more superior than this one
#7 Can you bring it to the top?
This part of the Cha Cha slide is actually one falf of a duo of moves. Unfortunately it is outshined in quality by it's partner. That's ok though cause its always a good time to see people rising like phoenix's from their ashes, like a water from a whale's water spout, like my blood sugar after a cinnamon donut.
#8 The first time DJ Casper says "One hop this time!"
You remember like it was yesterday. Your 3rd grade teacher put on this song for the end of the year party. It was your first time doing the Cha Cha Slide. When it gets to this part, you piss yourself in excitement thinking in your head "OH MY GOD I GET TO HOP IN THIS SONG THIS IS THE GREATEST THING EVER."
#10 Let's Go To Work
This is one of those phrases that signifies that you have to turn 90 degrees and do the dance facing 90 degrees to the left or right (depending on how the majority of the group you're dancing with turns) from your original position. But you don't just simply turn around, you and all your friends are going to WORK!
#9 Criss-Cross
One of those stand alone moves that are break from sliding and stomping your feet. Not quite as exciting as some of the other stand alone moves, but still a breath of fresh air nonetheless.
