The Los Angeles Metro area is massive but its hella spread out and basically a suburb not really a city, even the downtown is not very dense/impressive 3pi14159
but to answer your question it depends on what you do with your life but people are extremely pretentious and superficial, its not a stereotype. and traffic is awful, it can take you like an hour and a half to go 10 miles. If i were u(and ur doing engineering right?), i would go to the bay area because its much more a big focus here
A lot of people moving out of Cali actually. Not the worst time to move there house market wise. My goal is to retire on a beachfront property in the Newport area.
