when people delegitimatize genders and make fun of it by saying "I identify as an attack helicopter" or something, it's totally missing the point and just disrespecting people

but the fact is that the logic you use, leads to extreme examples like that
the odds are that eventually someone will TRULY believe that they are a helicopter or whatever and your logic is saying that we should treat that as a reality and not try and help them stay in the realms of reality
