why are there female/male perfumes

like I understand why some things are considered feminine/masculine, but perfumes?? How can a smell be masculine or feminine? LMAO. Gender is so dumb sometimes.

2388 well they're different obviously, but I dont know why they're even separated into genders. Society is just trying so hard to making everything gender inclusive for no reason.
