I'm not a Trump supporter

Sep 25, 2017 by Matthew09
but I think it's classless for the Pittsburgh Steelers of what they did during the National Anthem. Like my president or not, I will stand by the Country and respect the decision in which my people made by selecting who they did. Call me old fashioned.

We will only be divided if we allow someone to divide us, and it looks like Americans are allowing that to happen.

I simply do not agree

Im kind of shocked you would say this, when Trump has called Mexicans rapist and what not.
I honestly rather be classless than weak and stand for something i dont believe in.

I don't think this movement is because of Trump exactly

It's about Police brutality on Black people. Trump's comments were classless imo

yeah you missed the point on what's happening lol

My only problem is that he's much more vocal about this than he was about the Charlotte attack.

ZforZombie malachite05 Disrespecting the American flag by not taking part in the "National Anthem" is not only taking a shot @ the Country but the President of The United States as well, idc what anyone says. They should have known the backlash by what they were doing.

So I don't really get why they are so upset about the PRESIDENT being upset by their actions?

ManniBoi I think I clarified "I do not support Trump"
This was about the National Anthem for The United States of America.
Trump is now president and I will "stand by" the Country, regardless.

Matthew09 but this wasnt about the national anthem, this was to take a stand against the injustice minorities have suffer because of Trump. By you "standing by"  you just gave in to his racism, which is crazy because you're Hispanic and we have been his punching bag for 2 years.

ManniBoi This WAS about the National Anthem..it is disrespectful to the National Anthem. That's what you're not understanding. There are other ways to protest against what is going on.
Sent by Matthew09,Sep 25, 2017
They are doing it to protest police brutality against african americans. It has nothing to do with being anti-america, anti-anthem, or anything un-patriotic. It is a peaceful protest on a national stage to bring awareness. What is disrespectful to the country is racism, bigotry, and hate.

Matthew09 it went over your head dude, the reason it was done during the anthem is to get attention, awareness and people talking so they open there eyes on what's happening. Do you think the Charlottesville was better? Or Baltimore? I dont get it honestly its a peaceful protest and it baffles me that you would support Trump.
Sent by ManniBoi,Sep 25, 2017
No I think y'all took it overboard by not understanding that The President of the United States would be upset by someone not participating in the National Anthem, as I said there was other places to protest. __A__ ManniBoi

I clearly knew what it was for; But this is my opinion of not participating to the National Anthem.

matthew09 hes upset because CK is BLACK BLACK BLACK! Puerto Rico is under water and hes calling him a son of a bitch like WTF. His priorities are so fucked up but hey 🇵🇷 is mostly if not all Hispanic so he doesnt give a fuck about them! Like he doesnt give a fuck about you Matty
Sent by ManniBoi,Sep 25, 2017
When did I say I gave a fuck about him or if I even cared if he gave a fuck about me?
This is about the history of the National Anthem.

Bye ManniBoi

it's not about disrespecting the flag or the country @mathew09 nor does it do that in any way to exercise the American right to protest injustice, you're just misinformed on the situation and don't understand the history of the government intervention into the NFL and the absurdity of trying to flip this into something all of a sudden anti-American, this has nothing to do with Trump being President and his response to this is ill informed especially considering his prior position on the how presidents should be concerning themselves with NFL issues (ala criticizing Obama)

*shouldn't

Matthew09 Where else should people protest? If people peacefully protest in the streets then they're "selfish and vengeful for blocking traffic and they should all get run over", if they protest out of sight then there is no awareness to the public. By your logic they can't win. If they do it publicly they are being disrespectful and if they protest on a smaller scale no one knows about it.
