Jeff: The rules of Survivor state that if a hidden immunity idol is play, then any votes cast against that player will not count and the player with the next highest amount of votes will be voted out instead. This is a hidden immunity idol and any votes cast for MATT will not count. All right, once the votes are read the decision is final. Jeff: We have a tie. Per the new rules of this game we would go straight to rocks. However, in order to do that we have to reap from the remaining players. This means Matt you are safe from your idol, Francesca, Wentworth, and Kellee you are safe from being in the tied vote. This leaves Gretchen. Gretchen, you are the only person to draw rocks and therefore you are the only person eligible for elimination now. Gretchen due to these very unfortunate circumstances, you become the eighth person voted out of Survivor South Africa. I need you to bring me your torch.
