I bought the book Love, Simon was based off and read it in 3 hours and they changed so much shit for the movie oh my god. Abby still a queen boy crusher though.
And in the book Simon goes to a gay bar???? And boys buy him a bunch of drinks for free when hes a high schooler????? where was this when i was a little baby gay???

LOL it’s such a good book. Leah has her own book called Leah on the Offbeat too. It talks about her bisexuality.
MarybethdaisyJkJkjk15 I haven't seen the film but the book was kind of average for me tbh, I didn't hate it, Simon was a likeable character but there were too many characters and very little plot imo
Anas tea tbh u could tell it was her first book. It really went all over the place. The movie had a better way it made the plot string together, which its still a cheesy rom-com but still better.
MaryBethDaisy yeah especially the emails - they were so extensive, i had the audiobook which made it even worse I think as I wasn't reading them for myself. I'm dying to see the film, it does look like one of those rare cases where the film > book, sort of like Paper Towns
