Advice for a gay guy?

Ok so there's this REALLY cute guy at school who just STARES ll the time, we were talking one time and he even asked my sexual orientation at one point. I'm getting mixed signals from him cause he's supposedly straight but at lunch, my friends and I sit by him and his friends and he's always looking! Any advice for me?
