Jake lays head first on the wooden floor. An axe sticking out of his head. Blood pours out of Jakeâs wound and seeps into the wooden floor. The floor was already once stained red from the murders 5 years ago, as if history is now repeating itself.
âOH MY GOD JAKE!â Jessica screams and sprints towards Jake. Jessica knows in her heart, that itâs too late to save him.
The door is still wide open, chill air entering the once lively cabin. Jessica stares out into the cold outside. Pupils enlarged in fear and trying to see objects in the dark. Jessicaâs eyes dart from a tree rustling in the wind and the squeak of the floorboards as Tessa tries to approach and comfort her.
âWhat the fuck is going on?â Tobias said, voice squeaking, hugging a crying Cordelia.
Jessica can physically hear people talking in the cabin, but all her senses except her sense of sight have seemed to shut off. Jessica keeps looking outside, seeing no person who could of thrown the axe at Jake.
âJESS! BABE!â Tessa shouts, getting Jessicaâs attention. Jessica looks at Tessa, then at Jake. The colour in Jakeâs eyes starts to fade and his body heat disappears, as if it was seeping with his blood into the cabin.
âFuck this. Iâm outta here. I canât do this!â Rylan says, tears filling his eyes as he runs out of the cabin and into the darkness. âRylan, wait! We should stick together and call the police!â Mason explains and follows Rylan out of the door.
âI...I donât know what to doâ Jessica admitted. Tessa looked into her eyes. Jessica was broken. Jessica was lost and confused on how this could of happened.
âGuys donât go!â Nick says and walks to the exit. Elizabeth stares out the window. Movement. A shadow. âSomeoneâs coming!â Elizabeth adds and backs to the corner of the room.
Tessa hears what Elizabeth says and grab Nickâs arm and yanks him away. Thatâs when he appears...
They sport blue and white overalls. Dark brown khakis with black boots. They have a hockey mask covering their sinful eyes. In their belt is a large hunting knife, which they pull out.
Everyone backs away. Jessica, who was holding onto Jake, scrambles away from the figure.
The person behind the mask stares at Jessica and takes a step forward. âWhat the fuck do you want?â Reese shouted at the unwanted visitor. Their eyes kept still in Jessica. Jessica sees their exhale poke through the holes in the mask. The Killer takes a few more steps, standing over Jakeâs corpse, and places a hand on the axe, wedged deep into Jakeâs skull.
âWhat are you-â Jessica murmurs, watching the sound of squishy organs moving against the axe. âGet the fuck away from himâ Jessica growls. Jessica goes into a fit of rage, almost pouncing on The Killer.
The Killer manages to get the axe out of Jake and holds it in one hand. Jessica is on top of The Killer, her foot on the side of the blade, preventing The Killer of using it.
The Killer had their hunting knife, which they were holding on to. In one swoop, The Killer lodged it into her hip, and Jessica screamed in pain.
Everyone else was on the opposite side of the cabin, watching it all unfold. Jessica did a quick roll out of the cabin, drops of blood following her every move.
The Killer stood up and walked towards Jessica, who was now limping towards the Mess Hall.
SCENE 2
Dirt Road- 8:42pm
Rylan and Mason were the only two to successfully escape the cabin without The Killer after them. "The cars!" Rylan yells, with Mason following behind him. The pair run towards the cars and find out the realisation that all the cars have flat tyres. "No no no no no oh SHIT!" Rylan said, a face of pure dread is the only way to describe Rylan. âCome on, we'll have to move by foot to the highway, get a car and get help" Mason said.
âWhat about 9-1-1?â Rylan asked. âThereâs no service here, thatâs why this spot is great for partiesâ Mason replied. âShit..what the fuck even happened back there? With the axe? and Jake?â Rylan asked. âI donât know, thatâs some freak accident shit. Is Jake actually dead?â Mason responded.
âRight now, we have to focus on getting to the highway. Something tells me it wasnât an accident. The generatorâs power cut out not too long before that happenedâ Rylan explained. âLets go. Itâs a long path out of here anywayâ Mason agreed and the pair started jogging together, towards the highway.
SCENE 3
Eagle Cabin- 8:43pm
âWe have to call the cops! Now! Jakeâs dead, Jessica is injured, Rylan and Mason just took off!â Tessa yelled.
During this, Edgar and Tobias have lifted Jake onto a bed and placed a blanket over his body. Elizabeth, Reese and Cordelia are huddled like three cold puppies in fear. Nick is just holding onto Fantasia, who is on her phone frantically.
âWhy canât I call anyone? Is it a phone jammer? Or no service? I canât get any bars?â Fantasia says. âMy parents! They were right!â Fantasia adds. Nick hugs her. âWeâll get out of this together. I wonât let anything happen to youâ Nick said, calming her down.
âThereâs no bars for a reasonâ Edgar began. Fantasia looked up at Edgar. âMy brother comes here all the time, no service. He throws parties here. I seriously did not know about there being no serviceâ Edgar said. âWeâre screwedâ Tessa announced, slouching to the opposite bed as Jake, her eyes lay on the blanket covering the truth.
âIâm leaving. To the boathouse, at the docks. The Killer would expect us to go down the dirt path. But he may not of thought weâd use a boat or canoe. Thereâs another camp across from the lakeâ Fantasia explained. âCould we all fit in a boat?â Tessa asked.
âI doubt it, and honestly, the way some of you treat me, Iâm gladâ Fantasia said, looking across the room to the shivering trio of girls.
âThe FUCK is that supposed to mean?â Reese said, riled up at the comment. Reese started walking to Fantasia, agitated. Edgar holds her back. âKeep your mutt calmâ Fantasia said.
âThere could be enough canoes for all of us, if we shareâ Tessa said, trying to change the subject.
âIâm staying here. I canât swim. Iâd rather face that person with the Jason Voorhees mask than drown like an idiotâ Tobias explained. âI can too, keep you companyâ Cordelia said almost instantly. âSlut!â Elizabeth gasps at Cordelia.
âWe are all going to the boathouse. Tobias and Cordelia, if you really want to stay, then stay. This group going to the other camp is the best option for us, while that person is after Jessica, Mason and Rylanâ Tessa exclaimed. âFineâ Fantasia said, walking out of the cabin. The group hide in a large bush behind the cabin and wait for movement.
SCENE 4
Mess hall- 8:44pm
Jessica is holding onto her hip as blood stains her pants, blood drops following her. Jessica manages to hide in the Mess Hall, in a cabinet under the kitchen sink. Jessica is curled into a ball painfully as she fights the uncomfortable position.
Jessica looks through a crack in the cabinet, a few streaks of moonlight shine through a dusty window that is the only light in the building. âItâs okay. Itâs okayâ Jessica whispers and whimpers at the pain.
Jessica puts her eye to the crack of the cupboard, the moonlight disappears for a split second. âHeâs outsideâ Jessica whispers to herself, trying to calm herself down.
A large crash sound is heard above her as she sees glass fall onto the ground and the moonshine fills the room more. Jessica holds her breath. She waits. She sees the shadow of a head in front of the moonlight. The Killer is looking through the window. They walk off.
Jessica tries her absolute hardest to carefully open the cabinet door. It squeaks softly and as she tries to climb out. Jessica moves and she cries out in pain. Jessica bites her hand to stop the noise.
She hears something heavy scrape along the floor outside. âFuck!â Jessica whispers. Jessica applies pressure onto her stab wound as she stands up. Jessica hears more scraping. The door makes a large bang sound. The Killer has pushed something against it. âThe fucker wants me to escape out of the broken window!â Jessica realises.
Thatâs when she hears a crackling sound. Like a bonfire on the beach crackling. Like a sizzling piece of greasy bacon.
Like a fire starting.
âFuck!â Jessica exclaims. Jess pokes her head of the window. No ones there in any direction, the window faces towards the woods.
Jessica sees smoke rising on one side of the building and knows she has to escape. âNo!â Jessica exclaims. Jessica runs to the door and the metal knob burns her hand. âARGH!â Jessica screams, backing away. Jessica sees a mop and uses the end to break off as much glass as possible before struggling as she climbs through the window, a shard of glass slicing her forearm as she climbs though.
Jessica looks at her hand, itâs red and blistering. Jessica jumps onto the ground with a thud, the sound being overshadowed by the fire which has consumed half of the Mess Hallâs wooden building.
Jessica looks and doesnât see anyone around her, so she sits behind a tree at the edge of the forest.
Jessicaâs forearm is trickling blood, her hip is still bleeding softly, the palm of her hand is red and blistering. Jessicaâs mind goes back to Jake. The way his body went cold. An hour ago they were almost the perfect couple. Jessica stares into the woods.
âDo I just run?â Jessica asks. Jessica canât see much into the woods. Jessica turns her head to the boathouse by the docks. âA boat? Or a weapon?â Jessica thinks aloud. Jessica rips off part of her sleeve and covers the cut forearm with it as an emergency bandage. Jessica then grabs a large stick as a walking cane and uses that as she hurries to the boathouse.
SCENE 5
Behind Eagle Cabin- 8:50pm
Tessa, Fantasia, Nick, Edgar, Reese and Elizabeth are hiding in a bush behind the Eagle cabin. Fantasia scopes the area. The Mess Hall is now roaring in flames.
âWhat the fuck happened?â Elizabeth asked, as others watched as the Mess Hall burns away. âDo you think someone was in there?â Reese asked. Tessa thought for a second. âOh my god! Jessica!â Tessa says and starts crying. Edgar gives her a hug as Tessa whimpers into Edgarâs shoulder.
âDo you think Rylan and Mason escaped?â Nick asked. âWhether they did or not, we have to escape ourselves. The Mess Hall could of just been a distractionâ Fantasia explained. âI canât. This is too fucking much for meâ Tessa cried out.
âTess, look at me. You can and you have toâ Edgar said, no longer hugging her, looking at her. âWe gotta work together to get out of this. This shit is seriously fucked upâ Fantasia said.
âWhateverâ Reese giggled. Fantasia turned to look at Reese. âExcuse me bitch? Youâre on thin ice, whoreâ Fantasia snapped. âYouâre a fucking nerd. Fuck up before you get out downâ Reese threatened. Fantasia stared at Reese, not blinking. âI hope youâre nextâ Fantasia said calmly, and turned her head back to Tessa and Edgar. For some reason, that cold response hurt more than anything else she has ever been called. Reese got scared of Fantasia.
Edgar and Tessa were hugging again, when Tessa looks up. âTHE KILLER IS HERE!â Tessa screamed.
The Killer had the blood stained axe in their hands, walking with a fast pace towards the bush. âBoathouse now!â Nick shouted as everyone ran away from The Killer.

The three cabins are about a two minute walk from the Mess Hall and another two minutes from the Boathouse and Docks.
Elizabeth decided to run to the âBearâ cabin and let The Killer chase others to the Boathouse. Edgar and Nick saw her running into the cabin and followed her.
Tessa and Reese ran together to the Bathrooms, located on the opposite side of the campsite to the Mess Hall. âBATHROOMS! COME ON!â Tessa shouted as the pair ran into the bathrooms. Tessa held the door open for Reese and she looked back to see no one else. âWhere is everyone?â Tessa exclaimed. âCome on Tessa hide!â Reese shouted. Tessa shut the door and locked it, trapping the two in the female bathroom.
Fantasia was the only one who went to the Boathouse. âShit shit shit shit!â Fantasia kept repeating to herself. Fantasia calmed herself down, and felt lonely inside the dark and empty boathouse. A tree's silhouette peers through a window, like twisted fingers. That's when she hears the knock on the door...
SCENE 6
Dirt Road- 8:52pm
"Holy shit we are almost there!" Mason said, panting. He's not as fit as Rylan, the popular jock. Rylan's mind was having a debate, whether to open up and tell the truth to Mason or not. "Uh, yeah, almost there" Rylan said, running in time with his crush. Mason noticed Rylan looked depressed. "I know...Jake was your closest friend....I can't imagine the pain your going through" Mason said while jogging, losing his breath. Rylan was actually thinking of Mason, but played along. "Yeah, I... I can't believe he's gone. He was actually nice to everyone, unlike me, the asshole" Rylan said and stopped, Mason stopped too. "Rylan we have to keep going, it's what Jake would of wanted!" Mason said with encouragement.
Rylan paused for a second, and took a deep breath.
âI need to talk to youâ Rylan announced. âCan we do this when weâre on the highway?â Mason asked. âJust, while we have some time to chat, just the two of usâ Rylan said. âOkay, yeah, whatâs up?â Mason asked.
âI...really like you. Mason. Or Madison. Iâm not sure what to call you, I donât want to offend youâ Rylan announced, opening up to Mason. âThe name is Mason. I, uh, like you tooâ Mason blushed.
Rylan was took back by that. âWait, actually?â Rylan asked. Mason smiled. âYeah, I mean..yeahâ Mason admitted. Rylan smiled and locked lips with Masonâs.
While they were starting to make out, they didnât notice The Killer following them.
Rylan started to kiss Masonâs neck. âRylan..â Mason said in ecstasy. While Rylan went back to make out with Mason, overwhelmed he could share his true feelings, Mason heard crunching gravel sounds. Mason looked to see The Killer running towards them, with the axe in their hands.
âRYLAN!â Mason screamed and Rylan stopped to see The Killer approaching fast. Mason and Rylan started sprinting but Mason put his foot in a pothole and twisted his ankle. Mason fell to the ground almost headfirst, Rylan looking back to see The Killer catching up. âRylan help! Please!â Mason said and held out an arm. Rylan panicked.
â....Iâm so sorryâ Rylan stated.
âRylan PLEASE!â Mason screamed, trying to stand up. âIâll get helpâ Rylan said, trying to reassure as he kept running, The Killer almost at Mason.
Mason watched as The Killer ran right past him as he set his target on Rylan. Mason got up and tried limping into the forest.
Rylan thought he was safe. THWACK. Rylan drops immediately, his face grinding against the path as his body falls to the ground. The Killer, who had just used the other side of the axe to knock him out, now turns their direction to Mason.
âOh fuck!â Mason cries out as The Killer catches up to Mason.
