Ok, I lied. I did intend on watching Pearl Islands next but I accidentally hit play in Nicaragua and said fuck it let's just roll.
I actually disagree greatly with many people who say this is an awful season. I enjoyed it A LOT. This season has some of the strongest characters and now one of my favorite character arcs with Holly. At the same time, there were many forgettable characters too.
I LOVE drama so therefore this season was an absolute gem in that department. The gameplay was super strong in some parts and then dreadful in others.
After YEARS of seeing people talk about the infamous double quit and especially NaOnka, it was really interesting to see it play out for myself. I do think NaOnka was a good player, even with her not so friendly interactions with other tribemates she still remained in the majority. She was truly her own worst enemy in this game, every time she got screwed on something it was her fault. However, the quit really does knock her down a few ranks in terms of gameplayer.
Can we talk about Jane? Her dumping the water on the fire and her winning immunity but refusing to stop to stick it to Marty were both ICONIC.
I do not think Fabio is the best winner, not even sure he would be in my Top 15, but I don't think he was bad.

I do agree that it isn't a terrible season. My main problem with Nicaragua is that the double quit is probably the most memorable moment of the season. And it's such an ugly moment. I also hate Sash and Chase by the end of the season, so the final few episodes are tough to get through. I don't think there's ever been a BAD season of the show, but this is probably the weakest in my opinion for those reasons
It also sucks that the three most promising players (in my opinion) in Alina, Marty, and Brenda all go out in the jury. I think they all showed some promise. I also like Dr. Jill.
